[Settled back on her couch, Carla is fussing with a split lip with her tongue absentmindedly and shuffling through a series of photos like it's a hand of cards.]
I've got a Rosella barbecue, a cowboy with a gun in his eye, a few pairs of little boys getting up close and personal with each other, practically autoerotic. And... [She holds up a picture of M. Eames.] On a scale of 1 to 7, where are we going with this?
[She clearly hasn't accounted for all the pictures she was holding, but she puts the rest aside, moving on to another set.]
The rest are mine. [She holds one up briefly.] I haven't seen some of these in over half a decade. [She doesn't sound entirely pleased about that, and sits back again with a frown to look through them.] They've got a date with my garbage disposal.
[As one last distracted note she adds,] I didn't pick up anything of yours this time, Rapahel, I'm disappointed.
[[ooc; Here is what's up for grabs if you want it.]]

[She displays the picture she's found.]
Do you want it? Or should I add it to the pile to be disposed of?

Yeah.

[And hair... what is that horrible thing...]
no subject
[ Try telling him that, though. ]
no subject
And it looks like you've gained a few pounds since then.
[She has to insult both of you little boys equally.]
no subject
That was the day I got out of prison.
no subject
So that's what that dopey grin is for.
no subject
They sent care packages.
no subject
Friends of yours?

Joe's got something of a criminal empire. Eddie's his son. I was working for them when I was arrested; caught in a warehouse of hot items.

And the boys were happy to see you.
no subject
I guess so.
no subject
Sounds like a lot more fun than fixing cars.

[ Real work, that's what he'd asked of the Cabots, and Eddie had given it to him. It had gotten him shot, though. Fuck. He doesn't know what happened to Eddie afterward, doesn't know what the rat told him, and the thought makes him tense up, fists curling. ]

Can't always do what you like. [She lifts a hand to pet the puppy's ears.] I used to counterfeit currency.
[Scritching Rex's chin with her fucking useless hands.]
no subject
[ But he raises an eyebrow. Did she? ]
I'm assuming you were good.
no subject
[In her clearly humble opinion.]
Money, paintings, ID. Anything, I'd figure it out.
[She carries on petting the dog because it's better than reflecting too hard on what she's lost. Not just the dexterity in her hands, but the sharpness in her mind. She used to have the patterns for all the bills locked away in her head, down to the most minute touch. It's all gone now.]

[ He shifts, joining Carla to pet the dog. ]
Crowd control and torture. Muscle, brute force.
[ If you needed someone terrifying, you called Vic Vega. ]
no subject
Barking and biting.
[Her smile is not entirely pleasant, but that's what happens when her bloodlust gets piqued.]
no subject
Exactly.
[ There's a chuckle. ]
A guard dog.
no subject
A pair of junkyard mutts.
no subject
[ Said as he shifts to kiss her neck. ]
no subject
What leash.
[There are no leashes in this house.
Haaaah.]no subject
Instead of answering, he just chuckles again and gives her another kiss. ]
