[ Blonde leans over the rail of the ship, watching the whales. Unlike most days, his voice has a bit of an Italian accent, and his sunglasses are missing -- he's dressed like one of the third class passengers on the Titanic, and that's because that's who he is this weekend. ]

[Jack is also close by and leaning over the rail, probably more than is necessarily safe. But he's far too fascinated by the sight of the whale to care about a little thing like basic safety precautions.]

[It hasn't yet occurred to Jack that maybe he shouldn't be up here in the first place, either, given that he doesn't exactly have a boarding pass; he'll remember that in time. Right now, he's still enraptured by the local wildlife.]

What's it doing so close to the ship?

[ Blonde doesn't give two shits whether Jack does or does not have a boarding pass. It's not like he's been keeping his hands clean. ]

Swimming, I guess.

Jack turns to look at Blonde.] So where are you going?

New York. [ Same as everyone on the ship. ] I'm planning on sticking around.

[ And, even though he doesn't really care all that much, ] You?

I don't know. [He looks out at the ocean again.] I think I'd like to get away from the city... But I might just end up wherever I find work.

Should be some farms that need a hand, somewhere.

I'd guess so. Might have to go further west for it.
