What would the dead have to dream about? What would they have to think about? Today they came back from the dead. Do the walking dead have a pulse? Vampires?

Bloodsuckers?

Does breathing hurt after you haven't done it?

[Saya turns her head just slightly. Curiosity was always a hallmark of her species, and so she releases just a touch of pheromone. It's scentless but it cases a visceral reaction]

[Rude, Saya, rude. Without the virus in her veins, Carla is, perhaps, more susceptible than usual to such effects. She's not sure what the creeping feeling is, but it makes her frown as she picks open one of the boxes of peeps. The deep breath she takes is meant to be steadying.]

[The sugar isn't going to help, but she puts one of the marshmallows to her mouth anyway, a hand going to her neck as she chews, pressing down on her pulse with the heel.]

[It's unfortunate what a stupid animal she can be, and it isn't the first time she's come to sit at Saya's feet.]

[The tip of Saya's toe brushes up Carla's arm]

[She looks up abruptly, looking confused before she murmurs,]

[Picking uncertainly at another piece of candy, she can't quite seem to convince herself to eat it, eventually putting it back and just licking the sugar off her fingers.]

[And it's true, she doesn't. Some things are still hazy.]

[Saya gets a long stare for that one. There really isn't much by way of intelligence in her gaze, truly. An unfortunate side-effect of taking a bullet to the head. She isn't sure if she should ask if Saya is lying, that might just invite such questions back at herself.]

It doesn't surprise me.

[She doubts Saya lets much go at all.]

[Hence why she's sitting at your feet, admiring your shoes and petting your calf. Carla has never been good at being anything but messy with her delineations.]

[Saya's head tilts, and there's another puff of pheromone]

[She inhales shakily, her head lowering against Saya's leg.]

Because you're terrible.

[But said with such fawning.]

[Saya moves her leg along Carla's face, gently]
