I was trying to find my radio station because I found this little...machine, I guess (Tony, maybe you can explain what it is?) that's like a portable radio, but it runs on a battery and I can jog with it, but I don't really know how it works.

The only thing it'll play is a station with modern music and the lyrics are kind of...is it old-fashioned to prefer the Andrews Sisters and Glen Miller?

[ooc: Steve has an iPod he thinks is a radio, purchased used, so some songs remain on it. Someone help him out!]

Anyway, it stopped working, so I thought music might help. I always like it when they play music between innings during baseball games.

Harry taught me how to turn one of these off. [ Peering at it. ] Ain't sure how they turn on though.

[He shrugs and puts it back in his pocket]

Tony said that Jarvis will teach me how to use it, although I don't know how that works.

The songs were talking about humps and...lady...lumps.

I --. [ Is that the equivalent of a blue movie in music or something? ] Well, okay then.

[He takes it out of his pocket and presses play - he knows that much - and hands it over to Bucky.]

[ Tilting his head toward the earbud. ] What m'I listenin' to?

I don't know what half this song is talking about.

Uh --. Is it in a foreign language?

I don't think so.

[He watches Bucky's face and he's slowly starting to crack a smile]

[ This is awful, this is hideous. ]

Ugh, christ. [ More face pulling. ]

[Now he's laughing]

[ Pulling a face. ] That was just wrong, okay?

Yeah, but not like a foreign fuckin' language.

[ He thought you had sexy things on your iPod, Steve. Forever disappoint. ]

[He turns it and Sir Mix-a-lot's "I Like Big Butts" starts up]

There's this, too.

[ Pause. P A U S E.

Then dramatically. ] Okay, I give, I give, the musical torture is too much. I'll tell you everything y'wanna know.

[He grins and turns it off, taking the headphones back]

I don't understand modern music.

I think people all lose their minds in about ten years and it's all downhill from there on in.

We got ten years of sanity?

We have the rest of the forties?

Tony wants me to listen to loud music.
