[He has to stop at the liquor store first. He also makes a decision before he leaves and grabs his emergency stash of weed from his bottom drawer. Just in case. It's about thirty minutes before he shows up. The door's unlocked, so he lets himself in.]
[Curt looks over from where he's on the bed, leaning against the window and noodling around on an unplugged guitar. He looks a bit distant, and tired, but nothing around him is visibly broken that wasn't broken yesterday.]
Stephen drops the beer on the nearest surface and comes to join Curt on the bed. He leans across the guitar to kiss him, chastely enough but slowly, before he kicks off is shoes to sit up next to him.]
[Curt kisses him back and uncurls a bit. It's been around a year since he was last home, and there are some times when it feels very distant. It's a little weird to have the reminder that he'll end up back to the night (well, morning after) of this memory.]
It was right after that concert I ended up back here.
