It was awful. The downside of curses like this is that they don't test for ability beforehand.

They're the latest in a proud tradition of violent guests to the City. They can rank up there with the harpies and parasitic alien slugs.

Asking wouldn't be so bad, if only because I doubt anyone could answer. Of course, that's because nothing seems to be beyond possibility, so... I'm not sure that really is much comfort.

Well, there are those that repeat, the larger ones that feel more like events that tend to pop up every few months, and of course the weekends we get each month, but... a lot of the individual curses can be difficult to predict.

I'd say most of the good comes from the people here. There are those I've been grateful for the opportunity to know, who I never would have met otherwise. Which may be a small comfort, but I tend to think that any comfort is important.
