[ In the background there's the sound of crashing, a high metallic noise, and he sighs. ] Those things floating about and destroying everything? Most definitely not good. They're Daleks, and that is spelled D-A-N-gerous, all right? Whatever you do, stay away. Keep your friends, your family, your loved ones, even your enemies in plain sight and look after each other. Do not try and engage them, do not try to fight back, if you see a Dalek, get away as fast as you can.

They are ruthless and they will kill you.

[ A pause, someone yelling down the street. ] If any of you need me, I'll do what I can to get to you.

Your safest bet is to stay away. Electric charge can stop them, but the likelihood you'd have something strong enough? You need to keep out of their way, get people to do the same, pass the word around.
