014 x 410 // video // the man your man could smell like
[The video, unfortunately, begins while the device is in the throes of being chewed on heartily by a teething puppy. Rex has gotten hold of the phone in Carla's... indisposition. He spends a few moments gnawing away at it, but the experience is not overly satisfying to him, and so he picks the phone back up, trotting along across hardwood floors with a click-click-click of claws to nudge his way into the main bedroom.
It's dark in there, and very still, at least until the woman in the bed rolls over with a groan, spilling off the side of the bed to lean over a strategically located trashcan ready to accept the thin stream of bile she heaves up, long hair scooped back from her face in one hand.
Yes, thank you, Rex. Everyone wanted to see that. The mutt sets the phone down on the floor beside the trashcan before sitting down and waiting to be praised for his good deed. Carla does not oblige him, she's buried her face back down into the mattress with an exhausted murmur. All she can be bothered to do is reach over blindly and pat the dog on the head a few times before her hand falls back down limply.]
[[ooc; and then that (wo)man your (wo)man could smell like triggered a migraine in an ex-zombie with a heightened sense of smell. It started on the subway, if you'd like to have witnessed her being debilitated in public. Estelle got her sorry ass home. Nurse Bunny may appear if she wishes o7]]

Action;
Action;
She and Blonde live in a corner apartment, several floors up in one of the buildings. The elevator ride with Estelle's rose-scent filling the enclosed space makes the shrieking blossom in her head anew, but she manages to take her keys out of her pocket and push them into Estelle's hands. There's a large one for the door and small one for the mailbox.]
The dog will... [Rex may try to bite at her. He meets other people, out on walks, but their home is a different matter. One that she and Blonde intended to make. Still, he was only a pup, he could be pushed aside.] Be inside.
Action;
She does worry about the elevator ride, knowing that her sweet and overpowering scent can't be helping Carla in the least, but they made it and that's the most important part. Once they're to the door and the keys in her hand, by logic she tries the large key first and it opens the door. Thankfully, animals of all kind have a great dislike for her. For now, she ignores it hoping that her cursed luck with animals will aid her right now as she makes to find Carla's room.]
Lead me to your room. After that, I'll get everything situated so you're comfortable.
Action;
She sinks down with a grateful little murmur, some of her stuck to her face with sweat, although she's more clammy than fevered.]
There's... a trashcan in the bathroom.
[A small metal one. Carla is pretty sure she's going to need it.]
Action;
She's quick to grab it, and place it at the bedside in such a place so Carla can easily bend over without too much effort.]
Is there anything else you need?
Action;
No.
[Maybe she should ask for some water, but she's not thinking very clearly, just wants to hunker down and wait for it to stop.]
It's fine.
[It's not, but it's what she says.]
Action;
[Though water is something she will get for her simply because if she's throwing up like that, she's sure to get dehydrated shortly. But for now, she waits to see if Carla has an answer for her.]
