[Yuri is in the Square today, arm holding a giant paper bag full of groceries. He's munching on an apple, his sword tucked safely in his belt. His morality is fully intact, thank you very much. No vigilante sprees or anything of that nature.
His hair's been getting long, so it's tied back in a ponytail. Ah...one day he's going to just take his sword and chop it all offand let the ends fly away in the breeze in a garden of selenia.
But for once, he is just enjoying the day. No fights, no arguments, no curses stabbing him in the stomach - just him and his apple.
Feel free to ruin it.]

[He looks at her sympathetically, but he doesn't question.]
Just the usual curses, you know? I haven't been affected in a while, though.
no subject
[Neither has she, thank goodness, unless the deity trade counted. However, she's still being all hush hush about it even if Rita knows what she did.]
I'm so happy the City is back to normal.
[Usual curses and all!]
no subject
[Who knew they'd prefer to have the usual curses as opposed to- well, anything else?]
It's gone quite again. At least as quiet as the City's gonna get.

[Quiet, normal, happy, where they can do as they please with the occasional minor inconvenience. This simplicity is something she can appreciate even more now.
This simple moment. She's quiet, before she remembers something.]
Your hand, has it healed? The last time I saw it there was that... that rune and it looked like you had been scratching at it for quite a while...
no subject
[He doesn't even allow himself to have suspicions. He just allows it to be.]
Can't complain, though. Tyr'll know better about what to do with it than I do.
no subject
And she smiles and nods, looking satisfied.]
That's wonderful to hear. I'm glad he has it back!
[No, she doesn't sound satisfied, or sound proud of herself or anything like that, nope, not at all...]
no subject
Without a single memory lost or life taken. Maybe the deities took pity on me.
[He laughs and shakes his head.]
I didn't think having it would-- screw me up so badly.
no subject
[She doesn't feel any tinge of guilt, more or less because there was no memory loss or lives taken involved. Maybe that's what made it so easy for her to hide, at least in the aftermath.]
From what you had told me, it did some really bad things, so I imagine it must have been difficult for you to have. I'm really glad it's back with Tyr now.
[Her expression is sincere, happy for the both of them.]
no subject
[He shrugs it off, not wanting to dwell on it any longer. What's past is past, and hopefully all that business with the rune was closed for good.]
It couldn't have ended a better way. Still kind of suspicious, though. I asked the deities to hold on before they went ahead with the trade-- but I still have my sight, and I don't think I'm missing any memories.

[She's happy. She's happy for him and that everything ended with the best possible solution. This moment made all that worth it for her, all the suffering she endured, this made it more than worth it!]

[And he remains quiet for a second, seemingly lost in thought.]
You ever gonna tell me?

[she flusters for a moment, wondering if he's on to her.]

[just going to avert her eyes now and look towards the ground, clasping her hands in front of her.]
no subject
[It's clear that he doesn't believe that for a second, but that he's also willing to just let it slide.]
no subject
[she felt no need to tell him. there was no need to make him upset with her. At least, she believed he would be upset if he knew the truth.]

[She doesn't look back at him, though. Her face reads guilt and she knows it.]
Are you heading back to the house? If not, I'm... going to go back now...
no subject
[He's not going to point it out, but he notices.]
no subject
No, there's nothing I need. Thank you for asking.
[she then offers him a small smile before turning to return back to the house]
