video; action available as always!

[ The classroom is empty, but for a toiling McG at one of the tables, books and ingredients spread out around her. A quick flick of her wand, and another book jumps from her desk over a few lamps and into her hands, where she flips through pages frantically. On the table, among the mess, are various obviously badly-conjured things. And Minerva looks less than elated about it. ]

Hasn't ever happened to me, not once. Not in school, not in my studies; this is ridiculous.

[ Now it's obvious what has happened, as she starts scooping up her mistakes. One, two, three pocket watches-- and then the ingredients to what might approximate to .14 of a pocket watch. All into the wastebin. One, two, three fountain pens-- and a pool of ink and metal bits that wouldn't amount to much more than you guessed it, .14 of the whole of one. So on and so forth, items lay about the tables and her desk, in series similar to these. ]

I think for today, it might be safer if classes were to be postponed...

Oh thank goodness cause between work and my penchant for shopping I was planning on skipping a class anyway. Which... I guess you didn't need to know. But still, I saw these three pairs of shoes in the window of a store that are just calling my name. I promise they're super cute so it isn't like I was planning to skip for no good reason. Shoes are important!

I've learned that wedges are a lot harder to walk in than actual heels. Oh! And there's actually a huge difference between four inches and three inches. These are important every day things to know.

Well there are different kinds of pertinent. You can't tell me that even you don't appreciate a pair of really nice shoes. Nice black boots with two inch heels on them maybe? I bet I could find you a pair. What size do your wear?

[ audio ] Yes, perpetual wtf / oh dear face.

[She tries to give Minerva a run for her money, minus the trying part. The difficult and flaky just comes natural to her. She's whispering the size over the comm over and over.] Five and a half, five and a half, five and a half...

[And then...] Oh! Five and a half!! Taking a photo annnnd sent! [ FILE DOWNLOAD ]

So cute, like crazy cute. And I can totally see you in them. The heel isn't too high and they look super comfy and stylish. That's it, I've talked myself into getting them for you.

[Just the reaction she had wanted. In fact, she's beaming with pride in her own accomplishment of making Professor McGonnegal stammer for the few brief moments that she had. Mission accomplished.]

Hey, I just wanna make you all fashionable. If I'm gonna be on a shopping spree I might as well use my good shopping techniques to help others. I'm like the good fashion fairy, minus the cool wings and the fairy dust. So you're welcome, Professor Magic Genius. [Yes, she had coined the McG into Magic Genius.]

[He has to ask! Clearly she knows magic, but...]

What kind of subject do you teach? If it's magic...then, not everyone can learn it, can they?

The science portion might be fascinating, and something I could endure, but I guess it would be pointless, otherwise. It's kind of a shame.

It looks like it's that kind of day. We all have them, don't be too hard on yourself and it's probably the City's fault. Bonus points for being able to blame bad days on something else validly.

Well no, but when it's a curse, there'd valid reason for it.
