[ The video starts with a pan in on someone wearing tight trousers and big, stomping boots. Whoever it is, skips along three pavement slabs, and then hops to the middle of the next one, stands on his tiptoes and wavers. ]

Oh come on, that's not the right point. Nine hundred years old and I should be able to skip a point fourteen. What kind of person am I? Honestly.

[ It's very much the Doctor's voice, and he sighs, starts jumping again. ] I don't know why, but I just can't get the number out of my head. [ 1, 2, 3, wavering slightly on the fourth again. ] I made three cups of tea today, filled up the fourth up only a little bit. Good thing too, I like to think even I can't drink that much tea. A full fourth might've been pushing it. Maybe that's why I can't keep still.

[ Skip. Hop. Jump. Wobble. ] Oh c'mon. This is awful. Why can't I get this right at all?

Here, let me have a go. [ Pushing herself off the wall, very careful to pause every 3.14 steps, and stops next to the Doctor (after some manouvering). ]

How are you doing that? [ Pausing to stop and peer at Amy. ] I thought you didn't even like maths. With an S, always with an s. Do you like maths?

I hate maths, it's my least favourite. [ Skipping. A perfect 3.14, stop, skipping, stop. ] It's all instinct.

Instinct? [ There's a distinct pout in his voice, trying to replicate her movements. ] I have instinct. I have so much instinct. [ Wobble. Stagger. ]

Yeah? Well, you're instincts are rubbish then. [ She's only laughing at him a little, really. It's sort of nice to be better at something than he is. ]

Amelia, play nice. Wanda doesn't like it when we fight.

[ Spinning on his heel with a huff. ]

You're making that up. Wanda doesn't care, I bet. [ But still laughing. Holding out a hand to him, back where she started, right nex to him. ] C'mon then, I'll help.

She told me.

[ She probably didn't, but Amy doesn't need to know that. Folding his hand in to hers. ] Right, show me the way, Pond.

Sure she did, yeah.

Okay, on 3.14! [ Counting up, one, two, three and then very quickly now and hop, hop, hop, tiny hop. ] Stop right here.

[ Following her footsteps before he actually tumbles to the floor. ] Ow. Maybe I should just give this up. Clearly I won't win skipping olympics.

You could go back to making tea. I'd have some tea. All the skipping and weird walking's made me a bit thirsty.

We ran out of milk. [ And he's not sure how to actually go to the shop and buy more. ]

Besides, this is outside.

A café, then. Just pause when I do.

[ Rising up off the floor and folding their arms together. ] All right, I'll just follow your lead, shall I?

You shall. [ Inclining her head in an exaggeratedly royal manner. Very lady-like. Really. ]

So. Does this count as a mystery?

The mystery of 3.14? The mystery of your lack of hopping abilities? We really need to work on that last one, yeah.

Well, it's not likely that I'll need to hop away, is it? So I think I'm fine.

Good thing, too. You're definitely good at the running thing.

Well, had practice, haven't I? [ Cheeky smile. ] Always running about. No need to stop, what would be the point?

[ Turning to him and poking him in the chest, three times and then more softly, a .4 in terms of poking. ] You, mister. You're never gonna stop running. 's what you do. Who you are. Just you and your TARDIS and the universe.

Well. [ A soft smile. ] Now what I do is I get my best friend to teach me how to hop a point 14.

Yeah, guess you're stuck with me for a while, timelord. [ Said all affectionate. ]

I wouldn't have it any other way, Amelia.

Good thing, too, 'cause you're not getting rid of me anytime soon.
