Penny, did you make it out okay?

Something I have been wondering for a while...if anyone would like to share that is. What has been the worst curse you have experienced? And has it ever repeated?

These curses are really something else aren't they? Toying with people's emotions like that. It was so...reversed. Although if I am honest it was nice to see him even if it was for a while. I wonder if this is how it feels for him.

I was cursed to think I had family. Twice. Once, I had a father and husband. And another time, I had a sister.

Now that is really cruel to make you go through that twice. So they just vanished the following day then?

Not entirely. They were residents, too. Always residents. On the one hand, I sort of gained family that way. I have people that look out for me.

On the other, it reminds me that back home, it's just me.

I guess it would be the time my boyfriend and his brother got cursed to be alternate, kind of evil versions of themselves. I wasn't cursed so I was stuck running around desperately trying to keep them out of trouble.

Goodness. That must've really been something. I suppose you were really exhausted by the end of it?

Yeah. Emotionally more than anything. It was worse the time they both got reverted into children and I had to spend a really long time convincing them I wasn't a kidnapper.

Children? Well that's a new one. Tell me did any of those curses land on a weekend?

It does. Only that can't be the only thing because I don't see what getting stuck talking in haiku has to do with that.

Yeah, actually, both of those were random weekend curses.

In haiku? Now that just seems really silly.

So tell me how long have you been trapped in this place?

A year and a half, this time. I was here before that, but I can't remember anything.

It's not as long as Billy...but he got to go home for a little bit recently.

I've been to New York a few times. Nice place. I'm from Seattle.

Yep, all in one piece! I wrecked a pair of heels and brought back some blisters and a sunburn, but it's all good.

I'm well. Had a bit of odd curses lately but surviving.

What kind of oddness happened? I mean, I've caught some of it, but I've been pretty lucky.

Like playing chess with an imaginary friend. And that whole bubble mess. That one I really didn't understand.

Which ones did you catch?

I think the bubbles were a metaphor or something. I got skipped on that one; it's mostly just been desert wackiness.

Might've been. Well good thing you missed out on that. Did you catch the rainbow the other day? It was quite a sight.

I did, yeah! You did too, huh? Do you remember much about that day--other than the rainbow?

Yeah. Well not really no. But the rainbow was spectacular!

There's been a coupla that were different sortsa horrible but they haven't repeated. The whole idea of what made 'em horrible has though, if that counts.

And did they land on weekends or weekdays, Rose?

One of 'em landed on a weekend. The others were weekdays I think.
