I don't understand this curse.

[Cap has a bubble - it is little but frustrating. Crepe has already slammed into it three time today - oh, and here she comes again, running and jumping straight into the barrier, and bouncing, and skidding away. She looks comically confused, and she barks protest.]

I would mind it so much if it didn't hurt my dog.

I bet Private Lorraine wouldn't like it much, though.

[ Tugging a stray thread from the edge of his shirt. ] At least it's not likely to last more'n today? [ Unless it's like the sand all over again, but he refuses to think about that. ] And it's jus' people you can't touch.

[Steve shakes his head like that will actually accomplish something.]

[Steve looks over, concerned, then]

Played dumb. [ Mouth twitching up. ] S'what I'm good at. But he was actin' all funny about Tony, asking why they had the same name, sayin' how they looked like each other.

I knew that he would figure it out. He's not stupid.

[He looks concerned.]

I told him to talk to Tony about it.

[ Still picking at the thread. ] He's a genius, all of our excuses aren't gonna hold for much longer, and if Tony doesn't want him to know then he's gonna have to figure out what to say instead.

If he takes it seriously.

[The look on Steve face says he doubts that Tony will.]

He's gotta. We can't keep covering his back forever. [ Pulling a face. ] Besides, I don't like the whole deal. Howard's a jerk, sure, but he's gonna figure out we all knew eventually.

[Steve's face is getting more and more displeased.]

Yeah. [ Pulling the string free finally. ] If Tony knows he's been asking, then he's gonna be prepared. I mean, if Howard thinks I know something, then that's weird, ain't it? S'not like he'd have any reason to think I'd know.

Or maybe he realizes you know more than you let on.
