You know, having caught the few last moments of the glass city before everything went back to what passes for normal around here, I think Buffy and I got the short end of the stick. My shower felt awesome this morning though. And luckily Buffy and I are super-pros with a first aid kit. I guess I have to add how much my sister rocks, which doesn't happen all the time so everyone should take note. She made monster slush of the desert creatures and kept me alive too. I mean, I did help too... here and there! But sometimes I got in the way too. I'm good at that. If getting in the way of all things Slayer were a super power, that would probably be mine. Anyway, my sister is awesome.

So... everyone's okay? You know... I've seen people not being dead anymore. So... Aya and Ken? Sam? Dean? Ariadne? Tony? Faith? Charlie? You know, I could keep just listing names cause we all know how much I like to hear myself talk. But I'll spare you all and just hope that everyone's... you know, okay... and alive. Alive is good.

Everyone should have a Buffy in a crisis. If I could clone her and only have her clones come out during times of impending doom, I would. You have to be careful with clones though cause pretty soon they get a mind of their own and they're all personal space invade-y. Sometimes they're bots.

What? I ramble when I'm nervous or I'm worried about people. Okay, so I ramble even when I'm not nervous or worried. But now I'm done.

Ken! I wanted to send you a Buffy so bad. Like really bad. But here you are all alive with the talking and the voice-age and it's a good thing.

She is! There should be more Buffy's during apocalypses and stuff. And not like mini-Slayers cause they can be annoying. I mean, she can be annoying too but not like mini-Slayer annoying. So yeah, she's all crisis-rific.

You did pretty great out there too, Dawnie so don't be all short-stick-selling yourself. Of course I can't let anything happen to you. That's my job.

[There's a pause though because she knows that Dawn thinks of her that way. The other stuff just sort of gets in the way.]

Hi, Dawn! [Charlie's still sunburned. Her hair is wet. She's in clean clothes which is the Best Fucking Thing Ever. And she has a kitten on her shoulder.] Everything is wonderful right now.

I'm doing awesome, Squirt. My friggin' car turned to glass when I did the Marty McFly shit back into here but she's okay now.

A Buffy would've been great, but I have a feeling her hands were pretty full.

I'm not sure I know what a 'mini-Slayer' is.

[Dawn is in very much the same state with a few bumps, bruises and scrapes over her skin.]

I am getting more awesome with both sword and crossbow. It's the stakes I suck at. But really, if I could always use the crossbow, I think I'd be battle-happy.

She does this cool leap in the air, twirl around and kick from behind thing that I'm gonna try to learn. I mean I'm pretty sure no human can leap that high but the twirl kick thing I should be able to get... maybe. She's nice to have in a pinch anyway.

This is good news. So did you guys actually die? Cause... the video kind of stopped and I couldn't find you.

They're all the little slayer-ettes that Buffy's friend Willow made with the... long story. But seriously, try living with them. Or don't, cause I'm not sure I'd wish that on anyone no matter how big the castle is.

It had no plaque to go with it. Every statue needs a plaque to tell people all the facts! But it was just you standing there all stone-like. Were you conscious in the stone or were you just pure stone? Cause if you'd been conscious you could have been entertained by my sister macking on her umpteenth boy toy.

You'd be surprised at the things a human body can do with the right training. If you don't feel like asking your sister, I'd be happy to teach yo a few things. Well, in a few days I will be.

Oh she does! She gives lessons all the time. She and this guy even teach lessons here in the City like with weapons and hand to hand combat stuff. It's all really boring when there's no apocalypse going on but if you ask me, I think she and this guy have something going on on the side.

Are you good at all that combat type stuff?

Well she has all the super powers to help her out. So her body does things that are like... all like Jackie Chan on steroids... I mean if Jackie Chan were blonde and wore nice shoes... and if he were a girl. She teaches me what she can, I mean with what people of the norm are capable of.

Anyway, yeah. So. Death. I'm sorry. I mean I figured you had and I know it isn't my fault but I still hate it. What was it like? Was there heaven or hell or some kind of purgatory or... what was it like?

... death was quiet. Dark.

Honestly, people like me usually end up in hell, so dark and quiet was a plus.

Oh, well that's... there was nothing? Really? So it was like taking a nap?

That is so wrong. There's supposed to be something after death, which by the way I totally don't think you're a go to hell kind of guy, but the fact that you saw nothing? Okay, that's more creepy than something. Maybe this place doesn't have a... something... which is scary.

Maybe it's because death really isn't a permanent thing here. Why tempt someone with paradise when they'll just end up leaving it a day later?

And I really am the go to hell type of guy.
