[Raymond looks more harried than usual as he adjusts the camera.] Okay... Look. I don't remember how this happened, or why, but I need help.

[And then he points the camera to...his gun. Carefully perched in a pile of blankets, but it's his gun nonetheless.]

Like I said, I don't remember any of this, but it's— [He quickly glances back to it.] She's mine. Apparently. And I've never been one who's good with kids, but... [He gives it another glance, this one lingering.] I could really use some help here.

I would let her lie, perhaps she is happy to be with her father.

[He's still looking anxiously at the gun.] That works for now, but what do I do when she wakes up?

Perhaps give her sustenance?

I don't have any food here for a baby. [A pause.] I mean... I don't think so.

[There's just a really long pause.]

......What?

What? [He sounds almost agitated by that.] I already said, I don't remember how this happened.

Y' might want to get a carrier. Like a shoulder holster. Babies like t' be carried.

Where am I supposed to get one of those? I can't just leave her by herself until then...

Check if you have one already, that might do the trick.

How you picked up a pistol, or why you started baby talking it?

Let me give you a tip: If you don't know what you're doing, don't touch the gun.

I thought you were the gun-toting sort,

[He's just going to look at you like you've gone nuts. Him and the mechanical tasmanian devil with him.]

Fix it, clean it, and make sure it's loaded.

I don't have a pistol in here. I know I'm not good with kids, but I damn well know better than to have one in the same room as a baby.

[The silence that follows is him doing just that.]

I don't know... It doesn't look like I've got one in here.

[By now he sounds exasperated.] I wouldn't have a gun in here. As soon as this baby showed up, I got rid of it.

Not as long as this baby's here. [The way he puts emphasis on the word baby makes it sound like he isn't just using it as an overly-attached epithet for his gun.]
