My brother says that it's likely actually going to work. I think he meant that it was actually going to work, but was hedging his bets. I tend to believe him since he knows about this kind of thing.

And I'm just wondering... who here would actually stay if they had the choice? Or wouldn't go back to their own home.

I'd rather stay, personally.

He's a... world walker. He can travel to different worlds under his own power. And he's learned a lot about how gateways... doors work. He can make them, himself.

Others can accompany him, but he doesn't like taking others with him.

He has this sword and all these powers and abilities that in certain people's hands would be very scary but he just can't pull it off. Something always happens that ruins the effect.

So, no, he's not scary at all. He's really very nice.
