And I don't think it's too common, but there's enough of us to form a couple camps in the country. One of them even has the kids of demigods attending, so when you add them up, there's enough of us to fill a town.

It takes a lot of messing up. But I've got it pretty down now, I guess, and I didn't blow up my parent's apartment so I consider that a success.

No. No way. Going upstate? Leaving New York? I mean I know I'm not in New York now but Xavier's is like social suicide by guys who are literally rocks.

That definitely sounds like all the upstate boarding schools I've been to. [ Except more interesting and less likely to expel him, because superpowers. ] Being away from the city for the school year wasn't always the worst thing about it, but it came pretty close.

I'm not designed for boarding school life. I'm pretty sure I'm ill-designed for regular old public school life, too, but if this sand ever goes away, there's no worries about that.

They're not big on school around here.
