So...uh...yesterday was a curse, I'm assuming?

...Because I'm not normally clumsy, and my luck may not be the best but it's not the worst...

And, uh, well, I don't know how I managed to do it. I was taking Pooka out for a walk, he chased after some squirrels, the leash got tangled on my hand...long story short, but I think I may have broken my hand?

It's swollen and as purple as an eggplant and it hurts like hell, so...yeah, I think its broken.

Can somebody keep an eye on Pooka while I go get this wrapped up?

If you have no other volunteers and Pooka does not mind other dogs, I would watch him.

Mostly. He likes chewing on things, but he knows to stick to the squeaky toys...oh, and he's a jumper. But he's a pretty good dog overall.

Well, I wasn't sure if it was broken or sprained or bruised, and....well, I didn't really want to bother anybody...

Pooka loves other dogs...! If you really don't mind, that would be great, actually. I'm thinking I may need to get this properly checked out, and that could take a while...are you sure?

Yes, this would work. Try to make it very soon? If broken bones are left too long, they will need to be broken again to be set properly.
