[As the recording starts, Raikov looks worse for wear. He was very tempted to go with audio only but why deprive the City of his beautiful yet tired face?]

I'm assuming this is a curse day because my luck has been complete shit. Get out of bed, only to trip and twist my ankle because my foot was asleep? Hit my head on a cupboard?

[Which has left a nice gash on his forehead]

Spill hot coffee on to my newspaper and my lap? Trip over absolutely nothing on to the hard concrete? And those are only a few of the things that have happened to me throughout the course of the day.

[He rubs his temples]

I hurt, City. I want today to be over with. No one should have to deal with this much bad luck. I know I certainly don't deserve it! I'd love to take a bath but I'd probably end up drowning somehow...

[There was no denying it. And Raikov never thought he'd say that about anyone and actually mean it. In his time in the City there was nothing Nathan had ever done wrong. It was a tad eerie sometimes.

He slips out of the rest of his clothes and waits for the bath to get full]

[Coming back, Nathan gathers Raikov into his arms to carry him to the bath where he sets him in the water, making sure his ankle is out of the water and resting on a towel. Then he strips down and gets in with him.]

There. Just relax.

[Raikov sinks down into the water with a dopey grin on his face. Even with the shitty curse plaguing him for the entire day, this is the life. It doesn't get much better than this.]

Keep your foot out of the water. I'll make sure you get ice on that ankle later.

[Raikov gets kisses to his neck. It's a sure sign that Nathan is behaving since it would be so easy for him to bite down and drain him dry. Adoration does beautiful things.]

[He chuckles and messes with Nathan's hair]

[He cuddles him close and nibbles at his ear.]

[Raikov leans against him and closes his eyes, shivering from the nibbling. You're gonna rile him up, Nathan.]
