[In all honestly, Isaak is neither making an attempt to avoid this nor putting on any pretenses about it. He isn't actively seeking people out, either, but only because one really doesn't need to. As a matter of principle Isaak doesn't shy away from physical contact, and even if he's not the most festive fellow this is a bit of fun in which he doesn't mind indulging.
So, all morning and through most of the afternoon you'll find him about the City, wandering in and out of shops, pausing perhaps more than once for a coffee.
This evening, he will as ever be in the Wolf's Den-- where the mistletoe problem is as bad as anywhere else, and he will be making no efforts to combat it.]

So he strolls over, nodding a greeting, not yet near enough to be in the plant's thrall but closing the distance.]
I hope the day is treating you well.
Re: Action
It's been... interesting, in a variety of ways. Have you been enjoying it?
[Somehow, he gets the sense that Isaak's the type of person to enjoy a curse like this a lot more than he himself is. It's just in Isaak's nature. Maybe that's why he looks so suspicious of Isaak's slow stroll in his direction.]
Re: Action
[He stops when the distance between them, really, is negligible. Feeling the pull yet, Meyer?]

Re: Action
Being the man he is, Isaak feels no shame in drawing it out, and honestly, he's putting in rather more effort than he has with most of the strangers and acquaintances he's bumped into today. This is entirely because he's enough of a sadist that he'd like to see if he can make Meyer blush. The more uncomfortable the better.
So, he darts back in as Meyer starts to pull away. You're not getting off so easily, young man.]
Re: Action
Re: Action
Unfortunately-- or perhaps fortunately-- there's not much further he can take this, given their present surroundings, so at length Isaak pulls back, looking more than a little smug.]
Re: Action
I guess I should've expected that.
Re: Action
[Isaak is, as usual, perfectly collected. He's a jerk like that.]

But by the end of a day's work he's tired and that guard's dropped more than a little. Though most of the shyest shoppers are out of the streets by now, it's all too easy to bump into someone.]

Or just very unlucky.
Or lucky, depending on your perspective.]

Ah-what the hell...
[Oh and then he looks up.]
no subject
Really, we ought to stop meeting like this.
[For all that there's a joke in his tone, he still bends to catch Chase's lips with his own. Mistletoe, you know.]
no subject
(And who knows if that's the more masculine route. It's been too long and the city's too weird for Chase to be freaked out enough to worry about it).
He gets kissed? He kisses back.]
no subject
Certainly, it doesn't prevent him from enjoying his circumstances. He worries teasingly at the other man's lip.]

One of those people is just ahead of him on the sidewalk and heading his way.
Hopefully Isaak won't take offense.]

Spotting Chekov, Isaak pauses in his tracks. Really, they're like family. It's unnecessary, and not terribly appealing.]

Someone steps away from the counter and the line shuffles forward, one person at a time, slow and largely impatient. It's a half-step that lands Isaak directly below a fresh sprig of greenery.
He turns to face the woman behind him, and says pleasantly,]
Good morning.

Morning.
[ not exactly clipped, but not exactly friendly either. she's wielding her captain's tone, all business until she's able to duck out of sight and stay out of this curse's way for the rest of the day. ]

Pleasantries dispensed with, he leans in. Don't take it personally, Captain.]

I'd apologise, were I the one responsible, [he says, rolling his eyes briefly at the offending plant dangling from the ceiling. Tricky stuff, that.]
action.
No need. There's obviously a curse at work here.

[Tch, should he be insulted? (He's not.) He's not such a bad fellow to kiss. Maybe he raises an eyebrow ever so slightly, still amused.]
