I am thankful for thumbs.

Because without thumbs, we would be dolphins.

This makes me extremely uncomfortable and I can't exactly pinpoint why.

Are you afraid of dolphins?

Not specifically. Not more than I'm afraid of anything else, at least. Of course, I'm afraid of just about everything. But it's kind of a low level fear. Not an intense fear. I'm more afraid of humans. But still, it's kind of a creepy idea.

Humans are the worst. But dolphins are good at human things too. Like murder and being bullies. Do you think they're cannibals too?

Probably. Do dolphins commit genocide? Do dolphins start wars and use weapons? Because if so, dolphins are pretty awful. And I may have to reconsider ever wanting to go swimming.

Well. For starters, no thumbs. Thumbs are pretty important.

cats seem to manage just fine but i'd miss them, it's true.

But they can't open cans.

My job would be really hard without thumbs.

It's nice to hear from someone who gets it.

I don't know if the alternative isn't nicer. Some people would be forced to not be grumpy.
