Accidental Video | Action
[ The device has been left on the checkout counter of Lucy's shop. She's running around like a bit of a mad woman and it's her own doing. In the ages old tradition of her world, she's decided to have a Black Friday sale: Buy three, get three free!
The click-clack of her heels can be heard on the wood floor and she's trying to keep everything orderly and neat as well as help customers. After a bit she notices that the device is on, she sighs, rolls her eyes and leans down to look at the camera. ]
Coming Up Roses is having a Black Friday sale! Buy three, get three free. Come find your Christmas gifts and get something for yourself.
[ She flips the camera off. Feel free to stop by and bug her. ]

He's a little surprised to see nothing about the store suggesting blackness or even some black creature. When there's a break in the line at the counter, he swoops down and lands on the counter.]
What's so black about it? [He sounds a bit like an 8 year old girl.]

Oh. [ Lucy has gotten used to people not knowing things like this. She's been in the City a long time. ] Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving. People go shopping for Christmas gifts and things are generally marked down really low. Christmas is...a holiday where you give everyone you love presents.

[Lucy sees the cat coming in and perch in the store, but doesn't think much about it. She's accustomed to talking animals and all sorts of odd things, but when Nall speaks, she's still a bit startled. She smiles and answers his (her? if the voice is to be judged by) question.]
Nothing really. I don't know why they call it Black Friday except to distinguish it from other Fridays. This one is the one after Thanksgiving.

Well, there are religious aspects to it, but I sort of skipped those because I didn't know which religion you were. Do you know who Jesus is?

[ Lucy can't help but laugh at his enthusiasm. ] I think it's awesome. Not everyone on Earth would agree with us though. Is Silver Star where you're from?

Yes. We used to be from Blue Star, but we had to migrate thousands of years ago. Is Earth your home?

I think it depends on your religion if you find him interesting. Anyway, Christmas is his birthday and that's part of the reason we give people gifts. [ shrug] Or because it's just a good time to show people you love them.

Mostly warm scents like vanilla sugar, toasted almonds, warm amber, pumpkin spice, this really nice musky scent. Lots of different things.

I take in orphans and runaways. I take care of them until they're grown up and can take care of themselves.
