Ah, hello Rain. Yes, I had been meaning to see them after you told me how wonderful they are.

[Looks around.]

Never would have imagined there being such a room above a library. It's a splendid concept.

Well, it's just small so most of the roof is open, but I love being up here - especially at night. You can lie out under the stars and it's safe, 'cause no one mostly comes into the Library at night, so no one comes up here.

Usually. But sometimes I just stay here - especially if the City is crazy or I'm scared.

I sleep up here or downstairs in a warm dark place. And then the Library sings to me sometimes.

Uh huh. To me at least.

But mostly just late at night if I'm sleeping here or if I'm scared.

And it doesn't usually hide books on me either.

[Rain smiled and would probably take his hand and tug him along towards the inside of the greenhouse if he allowed her to, pointing out flowers and chattering on about where she got the seeds or the plants. The gist of it, though, is that they're pretty and make her smile.]

And one, that rainbow rose one, that one I got when I helped pick up the City after the deities were gone. Isn't it amazing?

It is very lovely indeed. So it was a gift for the clean-up effort? If it isn't indigenous I can't imagine where it could be from.

Uh huh, which was really nice of them because I just helped out because it was the nice thing to do. I didn't think they'd give me something.

[She smiles sweetly at the flower.]

I don't know if it's magical or anything, the way it kind of glows in all those colors, but I like to pretend it is. Like maybe it's a magical wishing flower.

Oh yes. I do, actually. The butterflies love them.

I don't ever have butterflies here. I have birds, but not any butterflies.

Maybe because we're up too high?

Yes! And, oh! If I want to I can plant more flowers by my house. Are their flowers that butterflies really like?

I think any flower would do. Something bright perhaps. Roses, daisies...yes, there's quite a variety to choose from.
