It's been a while since we've had a visitor's weekend...and there's so many people here!

Well, welcome to the City, everybody! I'm Rapunzel, and if we've met before, welcome back! If not, well...first time for everything, right?

To all the visitors- The Jasmine Dragon Tea Shop will be having specials all day today. Buy a medium drink, get a free pastry, that sort of thing. Since it's a special occasion and everything.

I'm not the one who kidnapped you...the people in charge, they sometimes bring a whole bunch of people in for the weekend, and then they go home on Sunday. It's temporary, I promise.

[It's been a long time since Leah was in the City. A very long time, indeed. But the first place she thinks to visit is the Jasmine Dragon.]

Sure, what can I---Leah?

[Rapunzel's face lights up immediately upon seeing Leah, and she's up, coming around the counter to pull her into a hug (sorry Leah, she's missed you.]

It's great to see you, Leah!! It's been ages, how are you doing?

[The hug is enough to bring just a hint of a smile to Leah's face.]

It has indeed been quite some time. I must confess, I have been better.

Well, I'm really glad to see you. Sit, I'll get you something to drink, on the house, and then I want to hear how you've been.

[She grins at Leah. Even if things haven't been so good for her friend and former roommate, she still wants to hear about how she's doing.]

Missed you, you know!

[Leah sits obediently, crossing her hands to wait for Rapunzel.]

I would like to say that I missed you as well, but when I left this place, all memories of it were erased from my mind. It is not until I found myself back here that I remembered any of it.

I figured, that's how this place works...don't worry about it.

[She comes back with hot chocolate and cookies. Sorry, Leah, it's too cold for milkshakes.]

Here. So, how've you and Serrure been? I haven't seen him, so I'm assuming he didn't come back here with you...

We're quite at odds, actually. [She calmly takes a sip from her hot chocolate before continuing.] He abandoned me. Sent me to the ancient past and left me there to rot. Now he's running around with a new band of so-called "heroes," and we've found ourselves on opposite sides of a conflict.

[...That is NOT what she was expecting to hear, and she looks justifiably shocked.]

Wh...that...how? That doesn't sound like Serrure, what happened? I mean, I know he likes pranks, but...that...

It may not sound like Serrure, but it is very much exactly like Loki to do such a thing.

[She narrows her eyes and takes a bite of a cookie.] I assure you, it was no prank.

[She just shakes her head, looking horrified and a little upset. Serrure wouldn't do that...LOKI wouldn't do that, he was Loki here too and...]

I...god, Leah, I'm sorry, I don't know why he'd...he was never like that, not here, I don't...

[She has to take a breath and step back mentally, because this is too much.]

...sorry. It's a lot to take in.

Yes, quite. Luckily, I have had quite a lot of time to take it all in.

Well...I guess that's good. Still, you shouldn't have to get used to it.

So...you were stuck in the far past. How did you get out of there?

[She IS curious as to what it was like, but...that's rude. So she's not gonna ask.]

[Leah takes another sip, then gives the simplest answer possible.]

Oh, Leah...

[She just looks sad. This isn't what she wanted for her friends and her roommates...]

[This causes Leah some concern.]

Do not worry, Rapunzel. I will have my comeuppance.

Good. I don't know what the hell's gotten into Ser--Loki, to get him acting like that. He was never like that before, and I may not know everything that's happened, but friends don't do these things to each other...you deserve better than that, and he deserves whatever happens for doing whath e did.

[She sighs. Jeez, it's a lot to take in. Trying to reconcile Serrure with the Loki he's become...everything that's happened to Leah...]

But I haven't seen him today, so if nothing else, he won't be bothering you over the weekend. You can come stay at the apartment until you go home again, if you'd like!
