[She thought she put a filter on, but in her state, she didn’t quite press the right buttons and this video gets broadcast to everyone.]

Tyr…

[Her voice is unstable, tears and sand streamed all over her face as she sniffs while letting out a few uncontrollable sobs. She’s trying to be strong for him, but it’s hard at this moment when it takes all of her energy to move, and her throat is tight and dry, making it difficult and painful to speak.]

Rita is…

[She can’t even complete the sentence before she starts crying again as she puts her hand over her mouth, accidentally inhaling some sand as she coughs.]

Rita is dead… it’s my fault… I should have been there.

[That’s all she can say before she ends the feed, unable to really face him and the guilt she feels for letting this happen.]

[She's figured out that she didn't put that filter on properly. For now, she does chant a spell and casts a force field around herself.]

...I... put up a... a shield around... [sniff] ...around myself.

[It's all she can do right now, and that spell took too much energy from her in her current state so she's honestly unable to move.]

[She tries to get up and successfully takes a step before her legs give-way and she falls back down, her device falling into the sand.]

[She'll crawl if she has to, just for Carla.]

[Carla frowns deeply. She is not and never has been a gentle or sympathetic woman, but she would be irritatingly disappointed if the girl died out in the desert because she was too pathetic to get up.]

[She tries to get up once more. Carla has an impact on her, one where despite the circumstances, she wants to try.]

[She takes a few steps, falls once more. No, she's not hurt physically, but now she knows that sitting there, wallowing in guilt does nothing. For some reason, she can hear Yuri's voice yelling at her to get up.

Maybe that's why Estelle has such a fondness for Carla, she reminds her so strongly of Yuri. That strength in herself, and what appears to be a confidence in who she is as a person. So she crawls. It's better than sitting there.]
