[ He'd been on his way to the library to return some books when he'd first noticed the crowds. It had been a little disconcerting, rereading the last chapter of a particularly interesting tome only to run into a queue of people he didn't recognise. Especially with so many of them as confused as he is.

So once he breaks away - Merlin, he really wouldn't want to be working in a cafe today - he digs out his device. ] Is it just me or is it really very busy today? [ He has to sidestep someone with a quiet pardon me before he starts up again. ] I've never seen so many people arrive before, is it a curse?

Excuse me, what are the rules here regarding lending out books to visitors?

[ He offers up a pleasant smile, placing his own on the counter. ] I don't know. I didn't even realise we could have visitors.

[ But it would explain the crowds, he thinks. ] We could always find someone and ask? There's usually a librarian around here somewhere.

[ He pauses, because that's what he always does when Sirius croons from somewhere he can't see. Hogwarts or elsewhere. It either means he's about to be set upon by a prank or -- or Sirius is here.

It's where the books were. [ He shrugs his shoulders, a redness spreading across his nose because sometimes he is a massive dork and if Sirius or James were to here him he would be shoved into a cupboard. ]

It's called the City. I know it sounds fairly unimaginative but they make up for it in the structure of the place.

[ He lifts his device carefully ( maybe Sirius won't realise just how happy he is to know he's here somewhere, heart doing a little flip flop thing that makes him feel vaguely sick. - and shut up, it would be the same for James. Maybe Peter. ) ]

[ Good grief he's missed this. Missed Sirius' utter ridiculousness so much that he's trying to peer at the area surrounding him. Library be damned. ]

Because you'd never leave me alone and I need some peace, Padfoot. A nice quiet space to drink tea where you can't find me and pour the pot all over me. [ ONE TIME, HE WILL NEVER FORGIVE, HE WILL NEVER FORGET. ]

[ And lo! Who comes bursting through the door. He's far more trendy now, thank you, because the future has nicer clothes. Of course he ruins that by the bobble hat and the scarf and the coat that's like a billion sizes too big, and the giant flushing moon-face. ]

How is it that even when you're being trendy, you still manage to look like someone stuffed you in a bag?

[ He pouts a little but then he's right across from Sirius and swooping down to hug him like an overenthusiastic puppy, the cute waitress be damned.

Remus isn't the one who usually instigates public displays of affection but he's missed him. ] Here, give me that. [ Taking his coffee and sitting down before he has a sip. Cue scrunching of nose. ] Still disgusting.

[He's a little shocked - shocked! - but then he's nosing Remus' face]

And it is not disgusting, just because some of us don't fancy their coffee laden with sugar and chocolate.

My life would be much easier if you drank tea like the rest of us wise Britains.

[ Because then he could pilfer without trauma induced to his tongue. But anyway, he's practically beaming. ] Hang on, why aren't you alarmed about all of this? You're being calm. You've been kidnapped and you're being calm.
