[The last time Julie's device was on, she was in the Hall of the Missing and then had vanished after seeing her own portrait appear. For her, she's been home for a couple weeks. It's only been one in the City and when the device does start recording, it's in her room at the suite.

Julie's not looking at the camera directly, even if she was the one to turn the thing on. She looks worn out. Defeated. There are bruises and scratches and she looks like she needs the worlds hottest, longest shower. And alcohol.

And when she finally does look at the device, it's her eyes that stand out the most. They're no longer blue. They're a sun gold, brilliant in their own way and very full of exhaustion.]

Good news. My world is finally coming back to life. Guess I didn't miss it. In fact, I think I may be one of the ones to have started the change.

[No details as to how it happened and she won't be divulging anything to anyone any time soon. Maybe R. He has a hand in it, too.]

Anyway. I'm...back. I'm tired. I won't be showing up at work for a few days. At either place, which I apologize for. I just need quiet. Bringing the world back to life is a violent, costly ordeal and... R, I swear to God you better still be here.

[She just shuts the feed off here and can be bothered at home though she won't be saying much.]

So..when I first got here, R and I were sleeping in an abandoned house. He was right. We part ways. I go home. He goes back to his jet....but then he shows up in Stadium Citi. He pretended to be human to get in and I guess he'd fixed himself enough so that he passed.

While he's there, my friend Nora and I clean him up and put make-up on him to help him really pass because if anyone found him...

... they'd kill him, right?

Okay, go on.

We took him to see the city. Show him around until we figured out what to do. We stopped at a bar, got drunk. I guess he got drunk, too, because he wandered off. It was raining. And his make up washed off. A guard saw him and R protected himself but then the guard turned.

It caused this whole shitstorm and then the Boneys attacked. I had to keep R safe so we left at first, but then we went back because I really wanted to show my dad things could get better.

Dad was too far gone. He was so consumed by everything that he chased us to the rooftops.

I was so afraid R and I were going to die that I kisses him. We kissed and that should have turned me. But we changed each other, somehow. And he was alive again. But dad thought I was a zombie.

He tried to shoot me but was killed by a Boney.

Oh Julie... Damn. I'm so sorry, hon.

That your dad would do that and then that he was killed... Damn.

[She doesn't feel like eating anything right now. It was a rough trip home.]

[He's just lucky she can be honest with him. Otherwise she'd wave off his concern.]

[Emotionally, she means. The trip home had been a roller coaster from one event and set of emotions to another.]
