160 Howls: Video

[Someone has a handful of balloons floating along behind her. And is pointedly ignoring them. Or attempting to.]

Tried popping them. Doesn't seem to work.

[And the chorus behind her gets a bit louder.]

None of them ever loved you.

No one ever even wanted you.

[And the eerie hiss of another.]

And no one ever will.

Tried putting headphones on, but nothing seems to block them out.

[And more join in.]

Never fit in.

Never will.

Home? Not for you.

[And a particularly nasty hiss.]

You don't belong anywhere. Freak.

Please tell me these will be gone at midnight.

[Dean did a quick scan of the collection and made a satisfied noise as he pulled out a CD.]

Zeppelin. Perfect.

[He inserts the disc and cranks the volume knob. When the music starts, he begins to twitch to the beat of the music in a weird sort of... Dean-dance.]

[She couldn't help but smile.]

Nice choice.

[She glanced up at the clock on the wall.]

Hour and a half. Think you can distract me that long?

[Dean gave her a slow, sexy smile.]

Oh, yeah, I can do that.

[You don't really dance to Zeppelin, not in a partner sort of way, but he slides off his brown, leather jacket, tosses it on the back of her couch, holds out his hand.]

Let's do it, baby.

[She hesitated for a moment, surprised at his offer, then took his hand, shoving a particularly persistent balloon out of the way.]

Why, Mr. Winchester, I'd love to dance.

[Dean could think of other things they could do, but didn't want to broach them at the moment. Dancing seemed the safest option.

He pulled her toward him and loosely placed his other hand on her hip.]

Thank you, Mercy. I'm the lucky guy today.

Mercy was all in favor of other things with this man, but she didn't want to go too far with the terrible balloons overhead. She'd be too distracted and she wanted to enjoy every moment of it. Still, no reason she couldn't be a little forward and see where things went. She moved in closer and rested her head on his shoulder.]

Ah yes. This is much better.

[Dean agreed.]

Much.

[They swayed a little, but though the music was blaring and upbeat, Dean didn't try to keep up a fast pace now that he was holding Mercy. You didn't rush when a lady was in your arms. Not yet, anyway.]

So, can you hear the balloons now?

[The music was not at all the important part of this picture. Dean was. Mercy was happy to sway with him and enjoy being in his arms. She might even have snuggled a little closer.]

A little, but I'm concentrating on the music. And you.

[The snuggle spoke volumes. He let his hand splay across her back and leaned his head down so he could place a soft kiss on her neck. Then he whispered...]

Good. That's the idea.

Mercy shivered a little at the kiss and arched her neck a little to give him better access. If he wanted it, that is.

And she hoped he did.

[He did. He nuzzled her wonderful neck with his nose and pressed tiny, soft kisses along it. Around them, the music throttled the air with energy and if the balloons had been normal, they might have popped from the pressure. They weren't, normal, of course. Were they still saying anything? Dean didn't really care, but he was curious.]

[She let her hands slide up into his hair, loving the feel of it and the warmth of him against her. The balloons were going on about something - something terrible no doubt - but the pounding of her heart was drowning them out.]

Don't stop.

[Her voice was barely a murmur.]

[He liked it when women played with his hair. Oh, she seemed to be quite taken with him at the moment and the balloons had stiff competition for her attention. Dean sighed inwardly at the use of the word 'stiff' in his head, because really, activity was stirring south of his belt.]

With pleasure...

[And he let the hand on her back slide down to her ass and he moved his kisses to her forehead, her cheeks, the tip of her nose...]

[Oh... Well, it was pretty clear that he was enjoying this too. But she wanted more than his teasing kisses on her face. She turned her head, trying to catch his lips with hers. One of the balloons tried to whisper in her ear, but she took one hand from Dean's hair briefly to bat it away.]

[Her lips found his and Dean was quite happy to kiss her: deeply, soundly, passionately. Balloons be damned -- if they weren't already. The people who churned out the curses in this place were certainly creative, though.

He wasn't just kissing her to dull the nasty voices. Dean had tasted Mercy briefly when he'd brought the Impala over to the garage. There had definately been a spark of interest then, on both their parts. Why not explore that spark now?]

[Now that was more like it. Mercy batted another balloon away and slid her hands back into Dean's hair, going up on her toes to get even closer. She managed a pleased murmur against his lips.

She'd wanted more of this since that interlude in front of the garage the other day.]

[He held her close to him and the swaying stopped as Dean focused on the kiss. She wasn't shy about showing her interest, so neither was he. The hand on her ass squeezed firmly and he let his other hand move to the hem of her top, his fingers sliding under it to touch the skin of her back.]

Mercy arched into him as they kissed. One hand started in his hair while the other and down his back to tug at his shirt. She wanted his hand on her and she wanted her hands on him.

[Since it seemed to be a mutual interest to touch one another's skin, Dean decided to make the first move. His hands left her, temporarily, and he pulled back from the kiss long enough to grab the hem of his t-shirt with both hands and tug it over his head. He let it drop to the floor and looked down at Mercy with one slightly raised eyebrow.]

[Mercy's breath caught in her throat and for a moment she just stared. Should she take off her own shirt? Probably. Did she want his hands all over her? Oh, please, yes. But for the moment all she could do was reach forward and touch.

Oh heavens... he was so gorgeous. And his skin felt so good under her fingers...]

[Touch. Dean was fine with that. As much as he wanted his hands on her skin, he wanted her to touch him, too. He hadn't given himself permission to indulge in any intimacy since being abducted by the City gods or revolutionaries or whatever. The situation was just too strange and constantly changing. Would Mercy even be here tomorrow?

And, in his line of work, wasn't living in the moment more important, anyway?]

Mercy...

[His voice was a soft, yet urgent, whisper.]

[Given Mercy's luck, the question was more likely would Dean be here tomorrow?

She looked up, eyes huge and dark, when Dean called her name. Her hands stilled from where they were tracing over the muscles of his chest and starting to drift lower over his abdomen.]

Yes...?

[His green eyes were intense as they slid from her eyes to her lips and to where her hand was going.]

At any time... If you want to stop this at any time you just... say something, okay? And... I'll stop. I promise.

[He swallowed.]

But right now? Please don't stop...

[She smiled at him, her heart touched by what he said.]

I will. You too. I'll be disappointed, but I'll stop.

But for right now...

[She let her hands start wandering again.]

I want this and I don't want to stop.

Likewise.

[He'd be disappointed, but he wouldn't do anything that Mercy felt she wasn't ready for. Dean smirked a little.]

I draw the line at balloons though. They can get their own.

[He leaned in to kiss her lips, his hands sliding up her back under her top.]
