020- [Video]

[missrosetyler]

[The video feed flickers on to reveal Rose's flat in distress. Her couch is turned upside down, pillow feathers are everywhere, the bookcase is on the floor with books littering the floor. The main door opens, showing Rose walking in with bags in hand. The mess immediately catches her attention and her bags fall to the floor. She ventures deeper into the living room unaware of the Boney watching her from another room. It growls and she stops turning toward its source. Her eyes go wide and she screams. Immediately she starts to back away as it advances.

She decides going for the door is her only choice as she turns her back against the advancing creature and bolts for the door, shutting it behind her. Her heart races and her feet don't stop moving, she spots two more down the hall as the feed dies.]

[She offers her hand.]

Thank you. What are those things out there?

[Moves around the console to hit turn on the scanner and looks at the screen on the far wall.]

[She watches him before looking at the screen to see the Boney's surround the TARDIS.]

Not sure. Skeleton looking things. One of them was already in my flat.

[Flinches as one of the Boneys flings itself at the doors.]

Yeah. Caught me by complete surprise.

Not sure. It must have been a while though cause everything's just a mess.

[She frowns and then wonders how his other self is doing.]

[She looks over at him and forces a reassuring smile but even that can't hide her worry.]

Yeah. I'm just...It was just expected. Those things...

[Rose tries to think back.]

I mean, not sure. They were close.

[Pays close attention to her face. Almost nose-to nose with her.]

[Looks around and sees the book discarded before picking it up.]

[Looks at her again.]

Are you certain those things didn't touch you? You just seem a bit...drawn out.

It all sort of happened so fast. I don't feel any pain.

[And then she thinks maybe it couldn't hurt to check just in case.]

[Goes to a nearby chest and pulls out a medical bag.]

[She laughs nervously and shrugs off her jacket before sitting down.]

Last thing I want is to turn into one of those things.

[Puts on a stethoscope and gives a listen.]

When was the last time you actually saw a proper physician?
