[Jimmy hasn't been around much in the last couple of days. There's a good reason for that, a damn good one, and he's about to make it known. He looks tired, worn down, maybe even a little sick as he turns the communicator towards himself to begin recording.]
I died.
[No preamble, no explanation for the moment.]
I died, 'n I don't know what to think about it. I don't know whether I could've done anythin' to stop it. I don't know why the hell I had to come back to life.
[He rests his chin on his hand, sighing.]
All I know is I could sure use someone to talk to right about now. Or drink with. I ain't picky.

Re: --> action
[He shrugs, laughs, because it's all unbelievable, really.]
Apologized, though. When I put up this network post.
Re: --> action
Re: --> action
Re: --> action
[He thinks briefly of his demon-self and is glad it wasn't really him. He downs the rest of his whiskey and sets the empty glass in front of him. Damn, but the bar is far away when your legs hurt.]
Re: --> action
[He gestures to the empty glass. His is empty too, and he knows just how far the walk to the bar can seem when you're hurting.]
Re: --> action
[He reached into one of his jean pockets for his wallet.]
And when we've killed it, we'll get another one.
Re: --> action
I like the way you think. I got this one, okay?
[And he heads off to the bar to buy a whole bottle. Once he has it, he returns to the table, and pours them both another generous glassful.]
Re: --> action
Thanks, man. I'll get the next one.
[He likes the way Jimmy thinks, too. Is he going to get wasted tonight? Maybe. Maybe not. He can hold his liquor. Hell, he's a 'functional alcoholic', though he's better than he was.]
Re: --> action
Okay, you can get the next one, assumin' we're still able to stand up after we go through this bottle.
Re: --> action
I'll be able to stand, Jimmy. If I have to drag you home, I will.
[He downs the contents of the glass and sets it back on the table with perfectly stable hands. He reaches for the bottle.]
Re: --> action
Hey, what, you implyin' that I don't have just of high a tolerance as you? I can hold my liquor -- maybe I'll be draggin' you.
[This is good. It takes his mind off of things.]
Re: -->; action
[He pours himself another. Jimmy still has some in his glass, so Dean puts the bottle down.]
Here's looking up your old address.
[And he knocks it back.]
Re: -->; action
[He drains his own glass, and immediately pours himself another.]
Re: -->; action
Eh, who cares? Let's get blitzed. We're alive. That's worth celebrating.
Re: -->; action
[He raises his glass in a toast, and then drains that one empty, too.]
Re: -->; action
It's because of my sparkling personality.
[He refills his own glass and drains it dry. He pours Jimmy another and one for himself, then holds the glass up, looking thoughtful.]
To the good things in life.
Re: -->; action
Yeah, must be that sparklin' personality. Don't know what else it'd be, except maybe the fact you like to get just as drunk as I do, apparently.

I like that plan. Always been kinda a night owl myself.
Re: --> action;
To being a night owl.
