When people are talking about curses, they're talking about all that mess that happened Saturday and Sunday. Got it. I do have a question though, does it happen to everyone? Is there any person here that hasn't had a curse happen to them?
One more thing, I guess I need a job. Anybody hiring? My name is Roman Godfrey. I don't do windows. I don't like kids. I shouldn't work weekends. If I ever go back I am going to graduate. All my references are back home too. What a problem this is.

[What he wants to say is 'sounds easy enough' but at least Roman is smart enough to omit that.]

You're-?

[A pause.]
The last time we met, I was smaller.

[Think, Roman. Think.]
You grew.
[In clumsy German.]

I did. It was just a curse.

Yeah. Got it. I'm getting used to that. I mean, I haven't been yet but you know.

I'd say don't worry, it'll happen soon enough, but I guess I shouldn't be wishing that on anyone.

I'm trying to prepare myself. But looks like that's not something anybody can do.
[Which is exceedingly bothersome.]
What's it like to run a casino?

[A tiny smile.]
It's... challenging. People are constantly trying to cheat.

[Which is funny because he has seen werewolves. But all of this is better to deal with than troubles at home.]
Do you take em in the back and cut off their fingers like they do in the movies?

[This is... a not entirely pleasant smile, perhaps. He runs a (mostly) legit casino, but he has other pastimes, as well.]
My bouncers generally take care of them.

[Well, being a casino guy he figured Meyer had seen. Whatever...]
That makes sense. So I can shuffle. I guess I could deal. I'm not twenty one though.

[That honor goes to Dewey, who's... ten.]
I'm not concerned about your age. I'm concerned about your ability to learn quickly.
