My brother wishes for me to make new friends. It isn't as if I haven't made any in the past, I've had some very good ones. It's just that they leave so quickly...

Still, I suppose I should get back into the practice of it, and it is what Nathan wishes. So would anyone care to join me for some tea and conversation?

Well, all but one. But I've been directed to distance myself from him.

Any particular reason why?

Well, he believes that he's been a bad influence on me. I suppose that's a bit cliché, isn't it?

Being less than reputable isn't something that bothers me. Besides, most every single person has some defect in character. Not having these prejudices allows for far more possibilities.

You have a point.

I guess the character defect is only a problem if it's a danger to your life. Or to those who matter to you.

A few months isn't so long for us. Still, I think this all could have been avoided. It's my fault really.
