Huh --? [ He's barely woken up and his voice has that rich, gravel quality to it that used to be from cigarettes and now is mostly to do with him getting old and tired. ]

[ Several minutes later. ]

Well, shit. [ He doesn't sound upset. If anything it could have been worse. He has the brief crawling sensation of what might have happened were his time with HYDRA up there. Half-formed memories and the stuff of nightmares and him powerless to stop it.
