[ The field of view shifts a little before Allison gets the hang of it; she's never been a girl who takes a lot of 'selfies'. There are trees above her, shadows dappled on her face. ]

If anyone is listening right now, I don't think this is where I'm supposed to be. I was in the woods - and now, I think, I'm in a different forest entirely -

[ She glances up from the screen, trying to squint at something in the distance, beyond. The camera shifts again when she reaches down to the ground to pick up the bow she's placed there. When she speaks again, it's hushed, quiet. ]

- and I don't think I'm alone. If anyone is listening, please - my name is Allison Argent. I'm not sure if any of my friends are here - Scott, Lydia, Stiles? Isaac?

[ She puts the phone down briefly in order to notch one of her arrows. ]

- just let me know if you're here. If you're safe.

[ Allison glances down, drawn back in by the answer. ]

Were?

Stiles isn't answering - so I guess he got back home.

But - he was here?

Derek. Where is everyone?

Scott's in the City with his mom, and Lydia. Stiles and Isaac were here, but not anymore.

Do you need-

[He doesn't like her all that much but she's part of Scott's pack, so maybe-]

-to come help you out?

I know them but I don't know if I've spoken to them recently. [Pause.] You'd best get out of the forest, though. It isn't the safest place.

[daggers]

[ She glances around warily, to a point out of frame, and grips her bow a little tighter. ]

Believe me, I'm finding that out.

video;

[hexuality]

It circles the entire city and the beach is on the other side of it. You ought to be alright if you keep moving.

[Then she smiles quietly at the camera.]

I'm Ginny, by the way. Ginny Weasley.

[affectioning]

[ He misses the first part because a buzzsaw is going. One of the guys cuts off a board. It drops with a thud and he sets the buzzsaw aside. -and now, I think, I'm in a different forest entirely Scott turns his head, recognicing that voice. ]

Guys - can you guys quiet down? Just, really quickly?

[ They acquiesce, looking at Scott, happy to be taking a break. They've been going nonstop since Monday, nobody did anything. It was a lazy day. Literally.

Moving over to the desk, he peers down at his network device. ] Allison?! [ With delicate hands, he picks it up. If this isn't a weird curse, he doesn't know what is. But, he's been hardly doing any work. Mostly, he's been supervising because supervising doesn't chip his new nail polish. ]

Allison, I'm listening. It's Scott. I'm safe. Are you in the forest? [ Leave it to Scott to point out the obvious. ]

[ Allison practically starts as the sound of something buzzing comes through the device, small and tinny but enough to make her jump. When she peers at the screen, she almost breathes a small sigh at the sight of who it is on the other side. No matter what's happened between them, it's always a relief to see his face - now more than ever. ]

Scott. Are you okay? [ Her eyes search his, a small furrow appearing between her brows. ]

I - I think so. Someone told me not to stick around.

[affectioning]

[ That relief is mutual. Despite whatever's happening between them their connection never fades. It's something that might always be there. Maybe the love is deafened or, it's lessened, but it's still there. Love doesn't die. ]

It can be dangerous. But, Derek, Stiles, and Isaac live in the woods. [ Or, they lived. One of them lives and Stiles and Isaac lived. It's why he's inexplicably got black nail polish painted on. And a top coat after that to make it really stick. Curses are strange and City is making fun of the darkness around his heart.

He takes a minute, looking around him. ] I can come get you. [ But, he doesn't ask, he's already up. He brushes at his shirt covered in sawdust. Now's not the time to change and look better. This'll have to do.

He steps out of the former shelter-turned-animal clinic and stops, sniffing the air. Publicly, mind you. He turns and takes off. ]

If you don't bother what's there, they shouldn't bother you. I spent a week going in and out of the forest. [ He stops again. ] You're heading in the right direction.

Hey Allison!

[ Clary offers the other girl a bright, comforting smile. ] It's okay. I know the woods are kind of terrifying but your friends are here.

[daggers]

[ Allison glances at the device with a slightly bewildered look. It's tough not to smile when you're greeted that enthusiastically, though. ]

You know them?

video;

[cupio]

I know Scott and Isaac! [ Clary aims to settle everyone's nerves, so have fun Allison. ] And my best friend is friends with Stiles. And I've seen Derek and Lydia around. So yep, they're totally here.

[ Except for Stiles, lolwhoops. ]

Welcome to the City. That arrow won't do you much good.

[daggers]

Why is that?

The curses fall on everyone eventually.

ALLISON!

Is Scott coming to get you? Scott should be coming to get you. Are you okay?!

I think Scott's coming. And I'm okay, I promise. Are you alright?

[lefthandedgenius]

Yeah, it's me. It's this place that's crazy. I'm fine, though. I'll keep talking to you until he gets there. Thank god you're okay.

Anybody explain this place to you?

[ Video ] Pretend this isn't extremely late. ;;

[ The crossbow and arrows catch his attention, but it's something that can wait to be addressed later; he's glad she has it, though, she'll probably need it out there. ]

Guess you must be another one of the Beacon Hills kids. You're friends are around. You still lost out there or do you need help?

I think someone's coming to find me.

Yeah. Stiles' been here a while with Derek. [ He makes the slightest disgruntled face at the latter name; he gets on well with Stiles, but the creeper in the woods? Not so much. ] And Scott, Isaac, Lydia? They've not been here long, but they're good kids.

[ He nods with a hint of a smile when she announces someone's on their way. ] You know where you are?
