[helsmaiden]

[The video opens on Leah as she appeared before leaving the city. As she always appears: long black hair pinned back with two bones, green dress tight around her neck.]

I know this place well enough to know that I should not be here. [Forgetting for the moment that she shouldn't technically be anywhere.]

 I advise whoever summoned me forth to return me with all haste, before I find the person in question and make them do it... what's the phrase? The hard way.

[She looks away from the camera, dissmissively.] That is all.

[That's okay! Rapunzel's just glad to see her.]

Yeah, you were, a while ago. I'm Rapunzel, we were friends when you were here before! You and Serrure lived with me! Well, I mean, he's living with me again, but you get the idea.

Serrure. You mean Loki. [That was the name he had used, when he hadn't known who he was, wasn't it?]

I shall have to investigate my loss of memory. I do not like... not rememebering.

Yeah, I guess he is Loki...but I met him as Serrure, so I guess he'll always be Serrure to me.

It happens sometimes, to people who leave and come back...I know it's not the same, but I could try to tell you about stuff from when you were here before...

That would be welcomed. [As close as she's going to get to "thank you."]

You showed up here after Serrure, and if I remember, he was really surprised and happy to see you. I think Luke--he was another Loki from another universe, it's sort of complicated--he was messing with you.

And then Serrure basically begged to let you room with us. And you did! And it was fun, we had to keep him in line, and there were curses, some of them were bad, but not all...

What curses are these? First they kidnap us, then they curse us as well?

...something like that, unfortunately.

Not all of them are bad. There was one where we were all compelled to dance, and you and Serrure made this really goofy video...! It was great. Some of them aren't good, some of them are weird...they happen every so often.

And there is no stopping them? [She made a video where she danced? Sounds horrendous.]

Well, the people in charge now are different than the ones who were in charge when you were last here. The old leaders were the deities, and they got overthrown a little while back...

The problem is that there's something about the City. If the curses go away, things here get...unstable. They tried to remove them a while back. It...ended badly. People got sick.

The so-called Deities are not in charge? Then to whom does one make an appeal?

Well, they were in charge, but they're not anymore. You'd have to talk to the leaders of the Anonymous movement...they're in the big government building, but they answer network posts.

[Leah scowls. She's heard of the Anonymous movement on Midgard. She hopes the ones here do not wear silly masks.]
