I was seventeen when I got here. I was a fucking teenager. Now I'm twenty-three and shite, actually, I'm twenty-six, because I spent three years back home dealing with that crap two years back and now-

I'm not the same person I was. How the fuck did that happen?

And don't fucking say I grew up, that doesn't fucking help.

In six months I'll have been here six years. Six fucking years. With a three year break, that's nine years - almost a decade with living with this dimension moving shite.

Admittedly, I haven't been here as long as you have, but being in this sort of place would change most people. It's kind of like being in fairy.

You can't trust things around you, and when you go back you don't remember until you come back. And I'm sure even when you are back home there's a tiny memory of something having been here. I know I did.

There's a reason why being fae touched is a bad thing. I suppose you could say we're City touched.
