Whenever times are tough, everyone looks for a distraction. I try to go about it the right way. You can only drink so much. And for all the people who really took ill in a big way, I don't think a doctor would recommend hitting the bottle. Even though it's mostly through, I was compiling a list of great movies. Some of em are old.

I'm trying to pick out big ones. There are others, plenty of others. Who doesn't like movies, you know? Anyway, I stand by all of these recommendations. Go on and ask if you wanna know more. I think that's better than yammering on too long.

Oh yeah, man. Godfather is a good one. Big Doll House is fun too.

It's about a nice guy named Michael Corleone who's got a powerful family and he's gotta figure out what kind of a person he wants to be.

Sounds good, I guess. Might be a fun distraction, 'n like you say, there's only so much you can drink.

When I was a kid it only came in black and white. Now they got movies you take home, color, cable...

Sounds like you need a VCR and a lesson or two. If I can do it, you can too.

Shit, I dunno, where I come from, what we got's pretty much silent movies, y'know?

Ah, the classics.

Don't you forget it. You don't need all the special effects to have a good time.

You know it! I mean, sure, a little flash and splash can be fun. Good ol' blockbusters. They've been cranking those out for years. But, really, when you're going to talk classics, you're looking at the nuances of storytelling and the creativity of the medium.

But, hey, now I'm waxing philosophical. So I'll shut up and add "Last Crusade" to your list. I mean, "Lost Ark" is great, but I've got a soft spot for "Last Crusade," you know?

Casablanca? [ He watched it over the summer. It was pretty good. He's heard it's supposed to be one of the greats. Also, Citizen Kane but he hasn't watched that yet. ]

That one is a real good one. Don't get me wrong. I tried not to throw in too many oldies. Bogie can't be denied.

The Last Crusade is pretty good, too. Temple of Doom has its moments.

No doubt about it. Something about the first one though. He came on up out of nowhere. That's what you call an icon.

Didn't he come up from Star Wars? [ Don't get Stiles started and he's never actually seen it but Stiles has gone on and on about the rise of Harrison Ford and Han Solo... ]

Yeah. But to break out of what's already a popular character to be another wildly popular character that takes balls and talent.
