[The (Second) Doctor is walking in the square idly trying to play a tune on his recorder. He doesn't seem to be pleased with his progress.]

If I didn't know better I'd swear this was out of tune.

[Looks around.]

Oh my, quite a lot of people about today. Many new faces. I wonder what's the occasion.

Excuse me. [Harriet reaches out to tap on the man's shoulder.] Harriet Jones, MP Flydale North. I accepted an invitation to visit a place called "the City", and then I was whisked away to this location without so much as a by your leave. Can you tell me where I am?

[The Tenth Doctor nods.]

More than we'd like to count. But ohhhh have I missed that look! Just look at you! I missed the recorder too.

Yes. Quite. Which one are you supposed to be?

This is our tenth incarnation. And probably our most dashing one yet.

Oh dear. I certainly don't get any better. I thought my replacement was bad enough. Am I really so smug nowadays?

Well I was showing Jamie this thing and then suddenly here I was. Slightly odd.

I’ve been here for a year, and a few months. I was home for a week once, and a month recently. Got to come back with some new experiences.

[ Slight grimace. Some good, some bad. The bad almost seem more, but they’re probably just… bigger. ]

[Extends his hand, sees the recorder in it and stuffs it in his pocket before extending the hand again.]

Erm, and where is home for you?
