Hey!!! Now this is what I call a party!!! I mean, man!!! Look at the crowd!!!
Yeah, yeah: welcome to the City!!! You guys have been here before you know, whether you know it or not. Hey, I know it, okay? And that's what matters.
Yup, the City. Any way you slice it, it's the City. When you are tired of the City, you are tired of life (is that true, really?). It may not look like too much but, hey, we just had a revolution, so, you know, pardon our dust. But we're doing all right for ourselves. Look, we're even throwing a party. Sort of. Just watch out for the clowns. They always look like they're kinda up to something, don't you think? You can't trust clowns, those weird bastards.
So how are you, all of you seething masses? Or teeming masses. Either way. You're a mass amassed, that's for sure. Downright exultantly excessive. Overflowing with excess--an excess of excess today, isn't it? As though the City weren't glutted enough with its pleasures and its pains, as though its desires were as insatiable as it would have us to believe. Do I address the City? Indeed, I do. And not those within the City who are usually so addressed. No. I speak to the City itself and its devices and desires.
We have all followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts.
Yes, yes. Drink up, drink up. This night thy soul may be required of thee. There is yet more. There is yet so much more.
And you've always got the Network too, y'know. That's City News, City News, All The News That You Can Use.
Oh, but I digress. I think there are friends, new and old alike, in these great teeming masses. Yes, new and old alike. Else my eyes and ears and blahblahblah whateverelse deceive me.
In any regard: yay!!! :)

[He just felt like raggin' on Pennywise, actually.]

[Don't invoke that one please.]

[Red hair, clown makeup, shown with balloons a lot, talks to kids--I dunno, Hatter...have you got a cousin?]

We shall see before the weekend ends however if that is to change.
[He belongs more in the demon class than devil. Perhaps an unknown half sibling left off the books?]

[Seems plausible...]

Find the nearest bar, public house, tavern, or whatever you wanna call it. It's all the same to me. Go inside. And I can just about guarantee you that they'll have at least one keg.
At least one.

Now that rather depends on your definition or meaning there. But here we go. I'll give you three and you can choose.
First, I'll say the Bird of Paradise, out near Xanadu, the park. It's all silks and satins and wine and perfume and feather fans and fair-haired young women with long eyelashes and soft and shy smiles, and comes complete with a boisterous, buxom madam to oversee the whole operation. Very finely done. Classically done, even. Like a scene out of a play. Very pretty, but mayha--maybe not every exciting, hmm?
Second, I'd say the Half-Timber House, out on the northeastern rim of the City. Its name is its face; you'll know it by sight. It's less finely appointed, save in those who live there, because they know well the fine arts of the flesh. There are three dark-haired sisters there, among all the rest. Choose any one of the three. You won't be disappointed. Drab walls, to be sure, and paper-thin, so don't be surprised if you hear what's going on in the next room--but maybe that'll do for a few ideas.
And third is a place down in the Underground that hasn't even got a name, where the young ladies under that roof will do anything. And I mean anything. If you've got the cash. Don't ask too many questions. Just say the word. You'll get what you want and more. And, yes, that's probably blood on the walls. Don't ask too many questions. They'll know if you're looking for the place. They can always tell.
Now take your pick of finery there.

Won't you join yourself, sir? I feel it would be inhospitable as your guest to take of your generosity so readily without your inclusion.
[Ooooor in case if it is a trap.]

And I might just join in after all. I don't see why not. Blame it on the festive atmosphere.

Good. What is your name, sir?

How've you been?

I am flattered that I have not been forgotten. I'm well, thank you for asking. :) how are things hanging around these parts?
text;
How could I forget you?
Well, we just had a revolution :D That was kind of exciting. Deities got ousted, some new kids moved in and took over. I thought it was exciting, at least.
text;
Oh my! that sounds entertaining! how are the new overlords? I hope they treat you all well. :)

So far so good. The dust is annoying and a lot of people are bitching about why they're still in the City when these revolutionaries said they were going to send everyone home. Believe me, THAT gets old in a hurry. But, otherwise, hey, kinda nice. I even got to yell "DEATH TO TYRANTS" some. It was like old times. (I even carried a sign in a protest. I believe it read "I'm just here for the violence.")
