[Unlike many other buildings within the City, Oh Aces didn't receive any propaganda - not so much as a single flyer. The hotel's policy of all welcomed and none turned away (especially during times of crisis), was most likely the reason. Recognized neutral territory.

The neighboring graveyard was also spared. Although no bodies ever laid there, the leaderless mob may felt plastering their posters a form of desecration.

No matter what personal stance he took, the hotel's would always remain the same. Pity there wasn't currently a 'good' side to choose from. Very disappointing the lack of a 'third party', he did miss being part of a shadow organization. If only Aion, the Lieutenant, Mr. Saxon, and others were still about. Oh the advantages they could have taken during this Citywide upset. Maybe even seize power; pulling puppet rulers' strings from behind the thrones.

Here he was: Jack of many-(and a number of illicit)-trades, military rank carrying, bioweapon who had arsenal caches galore and a mental map of the Tunnels. All dressed-up and nowhere to go.

Oh, well. There's always a next time. Meanwhile, best make an announcement to remind the masses of safe harbor.]

Anyone wanting a break from politics, come to Oh Aces. The hotel is spelled against violence. All are welcomed, even deities and revolutionists. No one is turned away.

(Of course, instead of questioning the 'why' of a animatronic zookeeper, the City majority is up in arms over its dismantlement.

I knew it wasn't permanent, more so with your new business venture - much easier to make housecalls in-City than from the far-beach.

That is true... but I'm not moving back into the City proper, at least not right now. And distance isn't something that bothers me, anyway.

My brother Nathan has requested I reside with him.

But can make for awkward explanations as to how supposedly human-you were able to cover said distance so quickly.

Paranoid over the 'revolution'?

I do have the penthouse still... but that's the good thing about house-calls. Who's to say where I am at the time?

As for Nathan, I don't believe he's concerned over the revolution. Or if he is, he hasn't expressed any worries about it to me. [Not that Solomon would expect it from Nathan seeing as they were never what you might call close.]

Why stay there? Well known he's not lacking in company what with that boyfriend practically attached at his hip.

I can't say I really know. But I have no reason to question his motives.

It all started when I mentioned my dislike of that damn girl - the cause of your near-catatonic state. Since then; schoolyard taunts with the occasional threat from him. Even when I tried repeatedly to inquire and or express concern about your wellbeing.

I'll speak with him. There's no reason ~~that I'm aware of~~ for him to be ... well, difficult. [Of course, Solomon has no control whatsoever over Nathan's actions. But one can only try. If anything, it will at the very least be interesting to see what his brother has to say.]

To be honest, I did a few verbal jabs myself back at the time. Also, I was the one who engaged conversation. Haven't spoken in a long while, so name calling and what not have largely fallen to the wayside.

With the 'two catalysts' gone, maybe we could get along? I'm not adverse to apologizing and starting anew.

Extending the proverbial olive branch? Nothing would please me more. [Except for his brother to accept it. Either way, Solomon does intend on hearing what Nathan has to say.]
