013 - [VIDEO]
[The video feed clicks on to show Rose walking down the street with her hands in her pockets. She seems to be talking to someone although to the viewer it is thin air again.]
You're making a habit of this aren't you?
[Her once calm expression changes to cross.]
You just can't keep appearing then disappearing, you know? Makes a person sort of mad.
[Rose keeps on walking, turning into an alleyway not really paying attention to her surroundings, being focused on the invisible person next to her.]
Not that it's really your fault I suppose. Guess this place just likes to mess with me. But still...It ain't right!
[She points an accusatory finger at him.]
You're not even real! You're just--
[She hits something and stumbles back.]
Wha...
[Silence falls and she's just focused on the blue wooden box with the door ajar in front of her. She's debating.]
This is...
[She turns to where the ghost was to her left but to her it is gone.]
Of course you would...wouldn't you?
[She's back to staring at the box in disbelief.]
Another trick I suppose.
[Her mind's set on that. but her body ignores her mind and she walks closer to it reaching out to grip the handle. It's solid.]
A really, really good trick.
[She pushes the door open and steps inside...]

[Rose is observing her surroundings for a minute.]
Sort of redecorated.
[Looks back to thin air.]
He's reading your energy signal, I think. He says you're fine.
no subject
[She's just... confused. Very.]
Oh. That's good.
no subject
[She'll have to explain sometime.]
So he wants to know what's your planet of origin?
no subject
My planet? It's... Earth, I guess.
no subject
[Rose looks to her right for a moment.]
Actually it's all his. Sorry.
He wants to know what region of Earth.
no subject
Air Temple Island. It's by Republic City.
no subject
He said it sounds like an interesting place. He's never been.
no subject
You'd like it! [Just thinking about home makes her mood lift.] Air Temple Island is so beautiful and peaceful.

[Rose grins with interest and looks back at Ghost!Ten.]
Sounds like a perfect vacation spot. Got all sorts of plants?
no subject
[Rose. Rose, there's still no one there.]
We have trees. There're flying lemurs, too, and flying bison.
no subject
[Rose looks over at Ghost!Ten but really empty air.]
Oh like you could give a better explanation. Don't give me that look.
[Looks over at Jinora.]
Don't think I've ever seen a flying bison. Blimey.
no subject
[Jinora is from the technological equivalent of the early 1920s. The notions of traveling through space and time are wholly unfamiliar, so she doesn't press Rose--or the empty air--for further information.]
I wish you could meet Oogi. That's my dad's bison. He can't fly through space energy, but he can fly through everything else.
no subject
[That's the best way she can describe it for the moment. Perhaps one day she can show her although it's only very wishful thinking.]
What a cute name he's got. Don't meet too many Oogi's. Rain, sleet, snow though? Still that's impressive. Where I'm from bisons are grounded. What's your dad's name?
no subject
It's really dangerous to fly if visibility's bad, but Oogi can do it. [Grounded bison? That's just weird.] My dad's name is Tenzin. He's a big deal.
no subject
Reckon he's a pro at it. Tenzin? Another name you don't hear everyday. What does your dad do? Is he like a President?

[She's slightly embarrassed by her enthusiasm. That wasn't terribly mature.]
Sorry. I miss him a lot.
no subject
I'd imagine that you would. Who knows maybe he'll pop up sometime, yeah?
[She's heard of all sorts of stories since arriving of people coming from the same worlds.]
