It's a beautiful beach at sunset, the gentle sound of waves lapping at the sand is muted in the background when suddenly a shooting star falls, blazing brilliantly inaflash of white before it hits the sand.

Buried in the ground is a large key, earthy bronze coloured with a blue hand-guard, and you see Riku reach out to take it.

In your hand, take this key. So long as you have the makings, then
through this simple act of taking... its wielder you shall one day be. And you
will find me, friend-- no ocean will contain you then. No more borders around,
or below, or above, so long as you champion the ones you love.

For a split second, there's the faint image of a man there. His voice is distant, but as he speaks the key in Riku's hand changes, grows smaller and thinner until he's left with a new key. The man is nowhere to be found.

Riku walks along the shoreline, Keyblade in hand, then he looks up at a tree. There's someone sitting on it quietly.

"Kairi!"

He runs, finally reaching the tree, only who he sees isn't who he expected.

"You again. Who-?"

"Riku!"

This time it is Kairi, she comes running down the beach, waving, and when he turns to look at the girl on the tree she's gone.

"Aren't you done sleeping yet? There's work to be done!"

"Yeah, set a good example for the rest of us," the tall red head in a black leather coat says as he appears out of nowhere beside her. "Master."

Then, in the blink of an eye, they're gone again, replaced by two weird, brightly coloured creatures.

"Dream Eaters? What-" Riku sighs. "Oh man, this is a dream isn't it?"

[Uhura looks down at her silk pajamas and wiggles her toes in the sand. She's not sure why she's wearing her pajamas on a Risa beach, but it could be worse.

She takes a deep breath, enjoying the salty tang in the air, and strolls along the shoreline. Her dreams aren't usually this pleasant. She's going to enjoy this one as much as she can.]

[Riku's sitting further up the beach, idly petting a brightly coloured bat as it perches on his shoulder, crooning at the attention. The other two Dream Eaters are romping about in the sand, until the Flowbermeow notices the new arrival and comes bounding up to her, squeaking excitedly and fully prepared to issue a thorough licking.

Riku looks up in surprise, not recognising the new person on the beach, frowning slightly.]

Hey.

Oh my! [Uhura laughs and leans down to greet the Flowbermeow.] Hello there. Aren't you precious.

[She looks up at Riku with a smile -- which turns a little dry at at the frown on his face.] Is he yours?
