Lucy told me about this guy named Jesus who was killed by a bunch of jewels, and there's a fat guy in a red suit that you give cookies to. Why would you celebrate that?

To me it's more about being with family, friends, people you love and care about. You celebrate that everyone's together. [If she were home, this would be her first Christmas without Fred. Maybe not as 'together' as they'd like, then.] People give presents, too, but that's not all there is to it.

Sorry, I'm not exactly the best person to ask. Witches and wizards live a little differently.

Our society's separate from a lot of non-magical people. They don't even know we exist.

To keep both sides safe.

What we can do only exists in stories for non-magical people.

[Years ago, she'd defend her society and the way it's been structured. But she's been around enough people from different worlds that she can see why it must be odd, so she concedes a little.]
