[ The feed starts with a pretty shaky view of the fountain before it lifts to take in the girl. She pushes damp red hair out of her face and frowns at the device in her hands like the way it's blinking at her will magically reveal all. It's cold, and Clary's soaked, and she's not sure how she got here only she'd really like to get back to Idris straight away, thank you very much.

Feeling stupid, she worries her cuticle and then goes back to peering at the device. Her stele isn't in the fountain and it makes something worried and upset twist in her stomach. Can she call a portal without it? Is that even possible? But she can't just sit here and catch hypothermia - she has to do something. ]

Hello? Is this thing on? [ It's recording, she gets that. But to who. And to where. She wishes Jace were with her. At least then she'd have someone who knew what they were doing in a crisis. ] I think I've found someone's cell. If they could come and collect it that would be awesome.

[ Quietly. ] And then maybe you could tell me how to get home too? That sounds like a good trade, right? [ Tilting the device sideways as water slides out of it. ] It was totally wet before I got here.

[Hello you poor child, here is Natasha. She's got a sympathetic look to her eyes, but it doesn't quite match the down turn of her mouth, or the smoothness in her cheeks. No, more than anything her face contradicts the softness in her eyes by being purely impassive.

She's not really a people person, so she'll have to be forgiven if her tone comes across as sharp.]

I can hear you. I'm assuming you just arrived. The phone is yours.

[There's a slight pause, and a shift in the view on her screen as she gets up and starts moving. Collecting a few things before she leaves the apartment- mainly a towel, one of her coats...

She's not going to leave this girl sitting out there in the cold. The least she can do is give her something to warm up. Even if that's all.]

I'm sorry, but you can't go home. None of us can. Sit still, I'm bringing you a coat.

A coat would be good. [ She should be wary of strangers, she really should. She can practically imagine Jace's unimpressed face with how eager she is just to let the lady on the other side of the feed bring her something to warm her up.

But Jace isn't here and he's probably not freezing to death like she might be. A coat would help her cover up her Marks too. She's not sure where she is and if the glamour will work, not sure of anything right now other than she's wet and she's got no idea where this is. Trusting people will have to do. ] Is there a transport strike? [ Because clearly that is the most logical. ]

Good. [Wary would be wise, as far as strangers go, there are probably others that are more dangerous than Natasha, but she ranks up there pretty high if she had reason to be.

Her concern is fairly genuine, the last thing she wants to do on a quiet day here is sit and watch someone die of hypothermia on her phone. So, she's pulled on her own coat, and is out the door.]

No. Nothing like that. I'll explain once I arrive. Give me a few minutes, I'm not far.

I'm not going anywhere. [ She wouldn't know where to go, or which direction to set off in. Her own cell phone's gone too. In fact, all of her belongings are gone. Her hand flies to her throat and under her shirt where she can feel the lump of the Morgenstern ring sitting there still. Good. She can do without her stele and her phone but that -- that would have killed her. ]

Thank you though. [ Because she has no reason not to be polite. ]

C-Clary. [ It feels like December even though it shouldn't be. She smiles though, a slight thing because there's no point being rude. ] With one C. Ignore the chattering teeth.

[ The rooftop of the apartment building gives a good view on the City, and Clint spots the new arrival easily, device letting him know there's a new feed to play. He watches it, not always the first to rush over and help new comers (they don't always appreciate his humour, okay, and it's not as if he would leave anyone out there if they needed help and weren't getting it), but there's something about this one that he likes, sees something there.

So he's up and off the roof in seconds, going the long way around through the building to grab something from his apartment on the way down, and it's probably less than five minutes after the feed that he's approaching her from behind, quiet until he purposefully puts a heavy foot down so he doesn't startle her too much. ]

Well, it appears to be working, so that's good. [ He inclines his head to the device. ] They don't stamp our names on them or anything, but you might wanna hold onto that.

[ Action ]

[ She glances up from where she's been trying to ring her hair out, eyes wide. It's not hard to be startled by being unceremoniously dumped into a large body of water but at least she hasn't started crying yet. That's helpful. ]

It's mine? [ She holds it up to inspect it, keeping Clint in her eye line. ] Everyone's been getting on at me to get a better cell but I kind of liked the one I had.

[ Action ]

[ The corner of his mouth lifts, and he steps closer, but just short of the pooling water around the edge of the fountain. ]

It's yours. Standard issue. Everyone gets one here, it's how we keep in touch with each other. [ He's got a jacket hanging over one arm, a towel tucked beneath it, and he holds them out. ] Thought you might need these.

[ For a minute she just wants to laugh. This she can deal with, this she understands. She grew up in New York, city of jerks and weirdos. She can handle a guy like this.

And by handle she means not very much but at least he's not a monster. Of the supernatural variety. ]
