One arm, then the other, then his shoulders, he moves and shifts, turning as the stylists working on him request.

Because this man, fresh out of rehearsals, is getting fitted so they can alter his new suit for tomorrow's big show.

As they finish that off, he steps to the side and scoops up his device. Just before he turns it off, a question for the stylists can be heard.]

Now, my accent color is definitely going to match her dress, right? I mean, of course you know how they are about visual presentation.

[You might hear him laugh slightly, because that implication is pretty clear, even ifhe plays it off as laughing at himself. Thankfully, measurements obtained, they head off so he doesn't have to talk about them in the third person.]

I am sure they know what they're doing - it's me, not them. I'll readily admit to being slightly overinvested in my wardrobe.

Well, someone has to be. Did you know last year the number one duo lost because not only was his shoes untied, but her zipper stood out too much and it distracted the judges from her dancing? That's not going to happen to us.

I remember that - black dress with the silver zipper catching every light on the set. The pull on it was sticking up. And really, they were miles ahead of the winning couple in dancing, too. Far better form and poise.

She almost blinded me. I heard they practiced eight hours a day. Eight. Only to lose it all on their costume.

Do you really need to watch something? You could go out, play a game... I've heard good things about books, generally, but you don't have to take my word for it.
