[Charlie's at The Jasmine Dragon, sorting through paperwork, running through schedules and doing inventory. Toph is gone and she has a lot to do. Feel free to stop in and help, though. She'd appreciate it.]

Hey, honey. [Don't mind her. She calls people that when she's trying too hard to be cheerful. As it is, she's cleaning up tea that she spilled, much to an annoyed business-womans aggravation. That was her tea, damn it.]

Toph went home.

[Korra would totally take issue with that, except for the bombshell Charlie drops immediately after.]

[She quickly sits down. Toph can't be gone already. They'd only just started getting to know each other.]

It's a term of endearment where I'm from. And...yeah. Toph returned home.

[The woman's tea is sorted. She huffs out and Charlie leans a hip against the counter.] It's myself and Rapunzel running the place, now.

[Korra rests her chin on her hands.]

I guess if she stayed here forever, the world I know wouldn't exist.

[She still wishes she had a chance to really know her childhood hero.]

From what I hear, you could spend years here but time won't move back home. No one even knew she was gone. They blinked. That's how long she was away, from their point of view.

[Thinking about that too hard makes Korra's brain hurt. So she changes topics.]

Yeah. We're closing for a few days, just to get our heads in order and a few things worked out. But, yeah. Plus we're hiring new people and teaching all new hires everything in case this happens again.

Does Bolin know about Toph yet?

I'm not sure. [A pause.] Can you tell him? I don't know him well enough to and I feel like it ought to come from someone he was familiar with.
