The Dragon's closed for the weekend because no one wants to work triple shifts. If you want to feed the turtleducks in the pond out back, that's fine, but they bite if you're not fast enough! [ Which Toph finds hilarious, of course. ]

--But now to the important stuff. Where is everybody? Twinkletoes, Snoozles, Sugar Queen? It's visit weekend and you missed the last one, so you owe me. I'm going to the park. Meet me there.

[ Clef has a certain amount of respect for large things that are made of metal and have engines that rev - enough that his first instinct is to climb into one on the theory that it's safer inside this metal box than immediately outside it.

He is calling shotgun, by the way. You snooze, you lose, Toph. ]

[ Toph had to tame her hair a little and wipe the sleep from her eyes. The rest disappears pretty quickly when she walks out and feels the rumble of the car. She puts her hand on the hood. ]

So this is going to be awesome.

[ She's not even sure what "this" is going to be, but she's sure of that. ]

Where'd the car come from?

[ There are a couple of cars in the City, so she has a vague idea of what they are and how much trouble they're useful for getting into. ]
