[Video/Action]

[For a while all that can be seen is a young man as he inspects the device to make sure it's actually on and recording. From what can be seen in the background as he turns it in his hand, he appears to be at the city square. Obvious new arrival, but he seems pretty collected for that.]

Not sure what happened here. This isn't where that trip was meant to end.

[He pulls a cigarette out from a pack, leads it to his lips and lights it, inhaling before talking again.]

Whoever's on the other side of this, I'd like to know what's going on.

[Looking around himself once more, he shrugs. Still doesn't seem or feel familiar. Not Heaven, not Hell, not Assiah and not Anagura, either.]

Setsuna, you better be here too. Not in the mood to track you down.

[Well, with all of the other people he keeps finding alive that were dead, why not Kira? He had never even hoped....]

[Wings already out. Wonder where he's taking off to so fast.]

[That's a nice change. Saves him the trouble of having to track him down.]

Didn't get another offer yet, so I'll wait.

[Someone's a little scared of Rosiel finding Kira first.]

[Don't worry, Kira knows not to take candy from strangers.]

Just hurry your ass up.

[Rosiel - more issues than just laced candy.

[And Setsuna still can't believe it, even when he lands. Kira's really there. He just has to stare at him for a moment, wings laying against his back again, ready to fly in case this is some sort of trap. Or a curse? Is this how they work?]

[It has to be a trap. It can't be.... But he can sense Kira, he's there. He really is.]

[It might really be some sort of curse, or who knows, but impulsive desire takes over and Setsuna rushes to Kira, arms going around him, head buried in Kira's shoulder.]

So...what are you doing in a stupid place like this? Thought you were content with the way things went.

[Kira's not too surprised by the action. He stands there for a moment, then gets an arm around Setsuna to ruffle his hair. The words do confuse him.]

[What is this strange emotion you speak of?]

Where the hell is this place?

[Setsuna knowing more than him. Things are upside down already.]

[Ah, this again? Setsuna blinks up at Kira's clear confusion and sighs.]

What's the last thing you remember?

And they call this place the City. Got no fucking clue where it is, just that no matter how I try to fly away from it I can't get away. I always end up back here, and I can't go too high, either.

[Kissing your... Okay, no.]

[And there was that lady friend of mine, too. Bit out of it.]

The City? Someone's creative.

[He looks at Setsuna intently for a moment. Something had changed. He had grown stronger.]

How did you get here?

[That feels like a really long time ago. Setsuna runs an absent hand through his hair and shakes his head.]

I got here the same way you did. Without trying and without knowing about it. Now I'm just trying to get out.

[Kira takes a drag from his cigarette and blows the smoke out slowly.]

That doesn't make sense.

[He should at least be able to feel Hell. Hell is him.]

You already have a plan?

[A totally insane one, presumably.]

Yeah...none of it makes any sense. Like how this place works. The fact deities are running it. The fact Rosiel and Katan are here. And now you're here. And there's these things called curses that make people do weird stuff.

[He stops going on about everything that fails to make sense and nods his head.] Sort of. I don't really plan much. But I figured I could talk to the deities. After I ask around to find out who wants to go home and who doesn't, that is.

Rosiel?

[He remembers what Alexiel told him about her brother. Him being here... Maybe it'd make some things easier.]

We can talk to those deities together. You'd just end up pissing them off.

[And he knows all about standing up to deities.]

Yeah, Rosiel. That's why I came out here, before he could find you.

[Never mind if Rosiel finds Setsuna, no. He hasn't thought that far ahead. It's not the important part. Keeping Kira safe IS.]

[Sticks his tongue out at Kira for that one.] I know how to handle deities. Besides, I'm not going until I ask around some. Some people here might want to go home, too.

Did he find you yet?

[Kira thought that far ahead immediately. Never leaving your side, ever.]

You want to help everyone?

[He's so not surprised.]

I haven't seen him in person, if that's what you mean? But he knows I'm here.

[Setsuna will both hate and love that, seeing that he's missed Kira so much. But sometimes....]

[Smile. Soft, gentle smile.]

Well, yeah. And some people might not want to leave. Some of them might be better off here, so I want to make sure those that want to go get a say.

Try to avoid him.

[Meanwhile, he might need to get closer some time. But that's not something he shares with Setsuna, obviously.]

Don't waste too much time with everyone else. We need to get back.

...that's not so simple. [Setsuna will, to a degree, but he owes it to both Rosiel and Alexiel to give in sometimes. He knows that, but doesn't know how to even BEGIN telling that to Kira. It won't go over well, likely.]

[Disappointed frown.]

That's a cold thing to say. I'll worry about them much as I need to. Besides, in case no one's told you yet, we got all the time in the world to set this up. Time doesn't move back home.

Time's frozen? Not just in Assiah?

[He dislikes that feeling of Setsuna knowing more than him. He'll have to get informed, fast.]

Then how much time have you been here?

According to what I was told, time is frozen back home for everyone. You return exactly where you came from, point of time and all. I don't know how it works, though.

[Better hurry fast, then, Kira.]

[A couple of days and this much change? But... Setsuna had mentioned 'point of time'. Kira doesn't ask, he assumes correctly. One doesn't become the Demon Lord of Hell without a bit of intellect.]

Good. You can't have gotten into to much trouble since then.

No, I probably could've, I've just been trying to explore the City and find a way out. So that kinda kept me out of trouble. For the most part.
