[ If anyone is hanging out in the square, they'll see a very confused looking teenager slowly bringing what is not his cell phone closer to his face. And if anybody is looking at the network, they see the adorable can't be mad at that face moving closer to the screen. He tilts his head, perplexed. He looks around. Nobody else looks completely confused.

But, wait. He hears other people on this thing. He squints. Could this be some kind of mass communication device? Give a gold star to Scott McCall as he looks around him and then back down. ]

Can anybody hear me? Or, see me? Anyone know how far away I am from Beacon Hills? [ Or how he even got here? ] It's in California. [ This doesn't look like California. He'd ask for help but it's not exactly something he wants to do. He can handle this. It reminds him of those times he woke up miles from home. But, that was a wolf thing. Could this be true alpha related? Is this something he has to look forward to? ] Or, if anybody near me has a cell, I need to reach some people. [ Or, at least his mother. Hi Mom. I'm all right. I just woke up in a strange place. ] Thanks.

[ But, he pauses. His nose picks something up. Yes. He distinctly smells something familiar. Or, mouth-watering. It's not clear. And that's all the network gets as he brings it back down to his side. But, the video continues as he's walking in some nondescript direction. ]

[Naga catches the smell of something familiar-yet-not. Similar to her friend and yet not. Curious, she turns her steps away from the Welcome Center, where she'd dropped Korra off, and goes in search of this new creature. Don't be afraid, Scott, if a giant polar bear dog starts sniffing you over.]

[ He smells something - something different, something he hasn't smelled before. As he looks up from his device he comes face to face with a GIANT polar bear dog. He's just going to look up now. ]

Um. Hi.

[ He looks around. Does anybody else see this? ]

[Yep Naga is quite visible. And a relatively common sight in the City, so very few people even look sideways. She's sniffing Scott all over, trying to determine if he smells anything like her friend. (This may involving sniffing his crotch. Sorry, canine manners)]

[ A foot lifts as he thinks about taking a step back. But, his hand comes to Naga's head because even though it's not an animal he recognizes, it's still an animal and it seems friendly.

As for Derek, he might smell faintly like him. At some point off screen, he definitely visited him when he realizes Derek wasn't dead. ]

Where's your... [ Master? He laughs. ] Aren't you friendly.

[She certainly can be! And she likes the sound of his laugh. He smells only faintly of her friend, but it's enough to get Scott Naga's patented lick of approval.]

[ Another small chuckle. He'll just stand here. Petting the giant polar bear. He'll also contemplate how the polar bear is surviving in this climate. He's going to have to check into that. He's a little worried for its quality of life. The inner thoughts of Scott McCall. ]

[The answer? Not hugely pleasantly. She's shed a lot of fur, which Korra brushes pretty much every day, and she spends a lot of time in the ocean, but hot is hot.

Oooh, yes, that's the spot. Her tail wags in approval.]

[ Scott will want to work on putting together some kind of climate controlled area. This isn't where she's meant to be. He's also not sure these are supposed to be friendly animals? But, she is so - meh. He's not too worried about her lashing out.

Oh, behind the ears? Noted, you. Noted. ]

Whose are you? [ He looks around himself again. Maybe they're in a shop? ]

[Naga is her own animal, thank you very much. But Korra is her best friend and the human she would lay down her life for. The girl's at work in the Welcome Center, though, and not around to explain Naga's presence. If Scott asks someone passing by, they'll probably recognize her, though.]

[ He's... content to pet Naga and answer a few people in the process. But, soon, he has to head in the direction of his best friend. ]

It was uh - [ He's talking to an animal now. He smiles and then takes off. Bye, Naga! ]

[Goodbye, new friend! Naga resumes her trek to the Welcome Center.]
