Rather a pleasant start to this month, isn't it? After all the upset last month I tend to think we deserve a break.

Most of all I'm pleased to return to running my business as I see fit, with the ludicrous curfew lifted and some semblance of order restored. Between that and the unexpected influx, I think it's high time for the celebration I'd intended last month.

So: tourists and Citizens alike, I'll stand you your first drink at the Wolf's Den; after that, you're on your own charming those with cash to spare.

You would be surprised. Even in the future, cadets will celebrate anything that gives them a plausible reason to go to parties instead of classes.

Which considering my everyday line of work is as much an excuse for parties as anything.

Ah. I have never heard of it having a month. [But gay pride isn't a huge thing in the future. Sexuality is openly recognized as a multifaceted thing, with no stigma attached to any preference; there aren't even (many) gay bars. The very idea of having a month, bar, or anything dedicated to a sexual orientation isn't one that occurs to Pavel, who isn't as well-versed in history as he likely ought to be.

And yes, being proud of stuff is a Russian invention. Obviously.]

Is it commonly celebrated with drinking?
